Even though I’ve owned this device for about a year, I’m just now getting around to using it — and I’m impressed! I decided to make banana chips today, and wow, it makes slicing bananas so easy. The slices came out perfectly uniform in size, which is really important when dehydrating them. The device is well made, blades are sharp, it’s easy to clean, and super simple to use. It made slicing large volumes of bananas fast with very little mess. Would definitely recommend!

Works like a charm! I thought it would be hard to clean once I opened it, but once I use it I dip it in my hot soapy dish water, swish it around and squeeze it a couple of times. Bam! It’s clean!

Best if you need to slice a lot of bananas at once. It's fast and easy. Too bothersome ( one more thing to clean) if you need only one banana.

This is really handy for slicing bananas for a hotel of cereal or for making banana pudding. Slicing a whole banana is fast and easy, with no mess. The bright yellow color makes it easy to find in the drawer and the price is not bad for the convenience and time saving you get from using it.

Very cheaply made product. When you squeeze the handle closed it sticks and doesn't automatically reopen like it's supposed to. Great concept just poorly designed product. Will be returning the two I ordered.

This banana slicer is nice for cutting high quantities of bananas, we like to dehydrate them so this helps save a ton of time. The only cons are that you have to keep rinsing them off as you go otherwise they won’t cut as effectively, and washing it can be tricky as the blades are kind of sharp and I have accidentally cut myself before

Does what it is supposed to do. Only used it for banana so far but it's sharp, easy to use, and makes slices uniform which is important when freeze drying anything.

Great for cutting banana for porridge, with custard , or making a salad

Wanted to use to chop herbs finely for taboulli . Doesn't work. Looked like it could work for that, it doesn't. Not worth the hassle of cleaning if just trying to cut banana.
