I have wavy hair that turns frizzy at any hint of humidity! This shampoo protects my hair so well, it made me realize just how soft and curly my hair can be! I’ve used it for six weeks now and I can’t imagine using another shampoo!

Every curly head is different, and I try many styling brands and types, but I stick with this shampoo. It does not dry my hair, or overclean the curl. It's perfect. Love the scent. Only wash my hair once or twice a week, it cleans and moisturizes my hair with low suds.

This is my first day using this shampoo and let me tell you on this first day it really made a difference! I have 3b medium to fine virgin lower back length hair and my curls absolutely loved this product. My hair feels more moisturized and for me that’s something that’s kind of the struggle because even though my hair isn’t damage I lack moisture always and since my hair is long it already has weight so I can’t use heavy products so this definitely helped. I also noticed that the moisture wasn’t only on my roots and mid shaft but also my ends and baby my ends holler for attention even though they’re healthy and I maintain a clean cut. To sum it up I feel like this supplied light weight non-oily moisture that cut back frizz and made my hair feel a lot softer and healthy. It’s not a fix all obviously I’m going to need products after the shower as 3b hair craves moisture and is prone to frizz but it definitely helps tame my hair before applying styling products. I wish the price would be more affordable as it’s ridiculous high but since it works and finding the right products on your curly hair journey is tough I’d say it’s totally worth it in my opinion.

This is the curly hair girls go to line. I've used them forever and although I do switch back and forth with another hair line, I would always recommend Ouidad. I'm not 100% sure that this shampoo with the nourishing oil has been better for my hair than the regular shampoo. I didn't notice a difference using it the first couple of times. My hair is very curly and dry and I can't wash my hair everyday. It did a great job cleansing, it did not feel oily but I didn't really notice an additional softness to my hair. Will continue to use and judge at the "end of the bottle" if I will order again. The price is typical and what you can find at Ulta or any beauty store that sells Ouidad.

Okay it’s worth it ,I love it definitely worth It , have it 4 stars only because it’s not necessarily cheap either.It’s like a gentle oil foam lather , scent is soft ... I would say my hair smells any special with or without it which is fine I like more of a natural product anyway .Curls are more defined , hair texture is nice . I will say that my glaze is being stripped heavy 😩 Notice some of the color from my glaze is wearing off quicker due to the change in shampoo but that’s fine because my hair feels healthier . Overall great shampoo will continue to use

Expensive? Yes. Worth it? 100% I have curly hair that is also dry. Ouidad products are the ONLY products that consistently make my hair look amazing. I used to dread washing my hair because it would take a week or more of piling on product after product to get it to look halfway decent. Some products would create buildup; some were too light. Nothing was quite right. I've tried sooooo many products over the years looking for that perfect match that will cleanse, nourish, protect, and allow me to style my hair without the worry of frizz, limpness, or drying. Yes, it is more expensive than other products out there, but it is worth it because you USE LESS. One 6-8 oz. tube or bottle can last you for months because you only need a nickle sized dollop to do the job (SLIGHTLY more if your hair is longer). My advice would be for you to check their homepage, do a curl assessment, and follow their recommendations for your curl type. I'm between a classic and tight curl. I have to modify for my hair. You can do it too. You'd need to use much, much more of the cheaper products that don't do a tenth of the job for the price of one 8 oz bottle of a Ouidad product.Because the price can be prohibitive for many, build your Ouidad 'salon' one piece at a time. I use seven of their products that I cycle through depending on the weather and the season -- except for the cleansing and refining rinse, which I use every time I wash my hair. I am no longer afraid to wash my hair because I know that it is going to turn out great every time. Don't be afraid to switch out a product for another. Not every product works on every curl. I've had a couple of duds over the years.If you have curly hair, you won't regret the Ouidad style!

The product did not suit me.decrease in my hair volume

I have a very tight curly Afro. This is the best shampoo I have ever used. When I discovered PHIL KINGSLEY Moisture balance shampoo and conditioner, I thought I had arrived until when I discovered this shampoo. It agrees with my curl pattern. It leaves my hair extremely curly, soft and managed to the point that my sister thought I texturised my hair. My girls are mixed so they have a lot of hair which if you not used to it would drive you insane to manage . This shampoo makes my Saturday hair days a complete walk in the park. It's a shame this brand is not exclusive on the UK market like in the US. Anyone with curly hair will love this product. I just wish their full product range was available in the UK.
