Adult Metallic Hologram Shiny Mermaid Skirt Costume Role Play for Halloween Costumes Party Events

Love it! I am 5'3" 140 lbs this mermaid skirt hits at my ankles, there is fabric in the inside which is great so it won't stick to your skin and the outside feels like a good quality PU fake leather type of fabric (durable). My size in jeans is US6, for skirts I normally choose small and ordered the small which fits great. To be honest I have a tummy which I'm working on and the skirt still fits comfortably. This is an early halloween purchase because I was in fear this skirt wouldn't be available closer to halloween and this is a perfect mermaid bottom. Delivery said June but I received mine April 25th. I really liked this mermaid skirt! The metallic scale pattern is shiny and fun, and it worked perfectly for my mermaid costume. My biggest issue is that it runs WAAAAY too big. I ordered a Small and had to pin the waist quite a bit to get it to stay up. I didn’t have enough time to exchange it for a smaller size, so pinning it worked for the day. For reference, I’m 5’4”, 108 lbs and ordered a Small. If you’re around my size, I would definitely size down if a smaller option is available. Once I got the waist adjusted by pinning it I loved the overall look. The length and mermaid shape were great, and the shiny green scales looked really cute in photos. Overall, I’d give it 4 stars because the costume itself is fun and looked great, but the sizing was way off for me.

This was the perfect skirt for my mermaid halloween costume! The color was spot on and very fun! For reference, I am 5'1" and about 165 lbs, and ordered this in a size L. The skirt has a lot of stretch and is very forgiving. It actually has tummy control without being designed to have tummy control. It was easy to walk in. BTW - I won first place for best costume overall.

Often, I am weary to buy clothing online, even costumes (which can be even harder.) I read all the reviews here and others that sell this item online. I inferred from them that you should size down. I noticed several reviewers who, I believe might be around a size 8-10, bought a size small. I'm usually a size 5/6 and occasionally can fit in 3/4. According to the size guide, I would be a medium. What isn't taken into account is the stretchy material. I bought a size small and it fit perfectly! I'm 5'6" 130lbs. The length is perfect right above the floor. I can walk in this great, but I imagine if you are a bigger body in a size small then it will be harder to walk. I absolutely LOVE how soft this material is and how it accentuates the figure (always lived that about mermaid dresses!) I am adoring this mermaid costume with it's fit, vibrant popping color, and cute plastic accessory charm. It's cute as heck. I hope to get use of this over and over throughout the years. I know this material, so the key to longevity would be to keep it hanging in a closet not folded or crunched up in any way.

Not only pretty and great fabric and craftsmanship but also extremely comfortable! It's a pull on skirt, easy to wear and walk in.

My daughter and I are doing matching Ariel costumes this year and I was having a hard time finding a mermaid tail skirt that would actually fit me. I looked at reviews and decided I’d give this one a shot and I’m so happy I did! It’s comfortable, soft, stretchy and it fits beautifully! Flattering to my body and at a great price! 10/10 would recommend. It delivered the next day I’m so happy with it! Matches my daughter’s costume perfectly. Great quality and I tried it on with pants just in case Halloween is cold and even with pants under it fits perfectly

I am an elementary school teacher and I purchased this skirt as part of a pieced-together "Mermaid Barbie" costume. The pearl/chain waist accessory was structured wrong straight from the package. It was already kind of broken. I tried to make it work and the flimsiness of the chain made it just snap with next to no pressure or effort. That was pretty sad because it was one of the main reasons I ordered this particular skirt. The skirt itself wasn't horribly uncomfortable. It did have good stretch to it and I felt comfortable walking and standing throughout the day. Because I am short and needed the tapering part to stop at my knees, I did wear this as a high-waisted skirt. It was comfortable at all main body and movement points. It also wasn't see through at all which was something I was a little worried about when I initially ordered it.
