They are high quality, well presented, beautifully written and illustrated and colourful. I am delighted with my purchase and looking forward to sharing them with my grandsons.

These books are an excellent way for young kids to get interested in reading in general. They are easy to read with enough illustrations to keep young kids interested. An excellent introduction to all of the Dickensian characters and stories.

great edition for kids

A well-designed box set of the basic story lines of Dickens which a bright child of 6 would enjoy to read for themselves. I will probably read them to my 5 year old grandson. An absolute bargain at the sale price for which I got them. At full price I might have thought twice. If in doubt buy one of them and see how the much the reader enjoys it.

I bought these books for my friend’s child. The books are Written in very simple English so that children can read easily and understand the story. After he finished reading we discussed on the characters from the book. He really enjoyed reading. His favourite author is Ronald Dahl. I decided to Introduce to him with different authors or on famous artists, scientists etc etc he loves reading. At this moment he is reading Charles Dickens. He reads out loud to his younger sister I watched them secretly when he is reading to her. I am very please and happy with big😀 I recommend these books children

Great stories adapted!

These collections of books are very interesting my 10 year old daughter was intrigued! she learned so much things that happened in the past, she as so much questions. Overall books and a whole helps your child to build there vocabulary and confident in their story writing and motivate them!!

YLはネットで3〜3.5と紹介されおり、MTHと同程度に感じました。初めてディケンズを読みました。逆境にめげずに最後はハッピーエンドなので、読んでて気は楽ですが、一話だけ違う結末になりました。オリジナルだったらもっとずっしりくるのかも。楽しいストーリーではないですね。 GRとちがって、児童書は文字が大きいので高齢者に優しいです。

We searched for the right edition of Charles Dickens for our first grader and this set was just perfect. Our 7-year-old daughter cannot put them down. Each book also comes with a free audio book that she listens to in the car.

My son enjoyed these books, as did I, and they are well written. However, there are several typos across the series, including mixing up of names. A shame.
