I put three of these tubes under the cooking grates, down by the burners in my gas grill. I only light one burner on one end, away from the tubes, and use indirect heat to slowly smoke the meat. I keep the heat at about 250 degrees. These pellet tubes will give me a good five hours of smoke. That’s enough to give a nice smoky flavor. Then, depending on what I’m cooking, I’ll wrap the smoked meat in foil and finish it up in my indoor oven at a low heat. These tubes are the easiest and most effective way I’ve found to smoke on my gas grill. Love apple wood blend pellets for smoking pork. Yum!

I have a gas grill so I use the tube for pellets to flavor the meat. Works awesome.

I used it with compressed wood pellets and it produced dense aromatic smoke for about 2 hours. Now I need a better smoking chamber that allows me to control the heat.

Grilling

This works great adding extra smoke to a nice set of ribs. Washable and quality was great.

This thing works pretty good. I use with my pellet smoker.

Easy to use with a pellet smoker/Grill to add much needed smoke flavor to my meats. I would strongly recommend that you have a butane/propane torch to start up the pellets to give off the smoke. It goes for quite a long time for how few pellets are needed to add that additional smoke flavor when you are smoking meats. One full tube is more than enough for any long smoke. I'd probably only fill about 1/3 to 1/2 a tube for something quicker cooking like ribs.
