Wwe: Unforgiven 2003 [DVD] [Region 1] [US Import] [NTSC]

Unforgiven 2003 was the second Raw only PPV and its certainly been the best of the 3 so far.Following up to bad Summerslam was'nt exactly the hardest thing to do considering the quality of the Summerslam matches.But this Pay-Per-View is simply the best Unfogiven in history and 2nd best pay per view of 2003.It starts with the excellent handicap tag team tables match between the Dudleyz and La Resistance(9 out of 10).From the tables match it doesnt fail to impress,with the (for once)good Steiner V Test(8 out of 10),the BRILLIANT last man standing match featuring the moment of the year so far were Shane McMahon jumps 50 feet off the Titan-tron and crashes through the stage,it had been a long time coming untill another huge Shane stunt and the wait was worth while,excellent match(10 out of 10).It was'nt all the pay per view had to offer,the superb triple threat match between RVD,Jericho and Christian for the IC title was one of the best matches of 2003 featuring a triple electric chair off the turnbuckle.The ending was a bit lame but it was still edge-of-the-seat material(9 out of 10).There was two low points here,easy to guess that one of them was the womens tag team match featuring Molly Holly and Gail Kim V Lita and Trish Stratus.Was'nt dire but it was still bad(4 out of 10).But the worst match of the night was easily Jr and King V Al Snow and Jonathan Coachman.There was no entertaining commentary let alone the lack of intersting manouvers and good-spots,simply a dire match(2 out of 10).The legend(Shawn Michaels) v legend killer(Randy Orton) match was terrific until the involvment of Ric Flair at the end.It would of been great if these two men were let alone to fight each other without the presence of Ric Flair but it was a great match and definatly a highlight(8 out of 10).Main event-Goldberg v Triple H was a good match,but compared to its predocessers it was buried to the ground.Not the longest of matches and a bit of a lame predictable finish but still a fairly good bout(7 out of 10).This was the WWE returning to the excitement and the thrills of the glorious 2000-2001 years.An excellent pay-per-view.

Dvd came on time and was in good condition. Good dvd from year 2003 by the wwe.Glad i bought this is a good ppv thanks.

2003 was one of the best year WWE after the WCW buyout! cool wrestlers with skill.

I think it's interesting. worth watching. a few good matches which were interesting. seeing Stacy Keiblers ass. nothing wrong there lol.good just seeing Goldberg in a match againthe Shane dive - awesome. best thing of the night i'd say.

Any PPV with a Shane McMahon match in is gold in my opinion. Zoverstocks service was top quality as always.

Match 1 World Tag Team Titles Handicap Table Match Dudley Boyz vs. La Resistance & Rob Conway 8/10Amazing opener and a good way for the Dudleyz to regain the titles.Match 2 Scott Stenier vs. Test 6/10 If Scott won he gets Stacy if Test won he get's the service from Scott & Stacy. Better than their match at Bad Blood.Match 3 Randy Orton vs. Shawn Micheals 9/10 Great old school wrestling match and had the right timing and had a good point on the card.Match 4 Gail Kim & Molly Holly vs. Lita & Trish Stratus 6/10 A better match than i thought and a great return by Lita.Match 5 Winners Broadcast RAW:J.R & "The King" vs. Coach & Al Snow 4/10No comentaters and even Al Snow who is an actual wrestler absoulutley sucked at wrestling it was Y2J who ended this awful match. Thank God.Match 6 Trople Threat IC title match: Y2J vs. RVD vs. Christian(c) 8/10A good match with great moves from RVD & Y2J. So of course Christian won.Match 7 Last Man Standing Match:Shane Mcmahon vs. Kane 9/10 Ever since Kane took oof his mask he's been in great matches and been better a kicking ass like he use to. An amazing hardcore match with a great ending.Match 8 World Heavyweight title match:Triple H(c) vs. Goldberg 9/10I thought this would be the last part of the Triple H/Goldberg saga because the match was so good and had quite a long and well fitted video package at 4 minutes,plus Goldberg wins. But after i thought no because Triple H is so stuberned and won't stop until he's the World Heavyweight champ. I use to like him back in the year 2002 but now he has Evolution involved in almost every match witch makes them predictable.The only problem on this DVD is that their is no extras, well i mean almost none. Their is a hiden easter egg (click right and down twice at the main page)Its not actually that good it's only a 3 minute video of clips leading up to the matches. Basicly a longer version of the opening video package.

This was do or die for Goldberg. If he lost he would have to leave the WWE. This was a great match and will go down as one of his greatest victories over Triple H who he had animosity with over the years. I thought this PPV was pretty solid. Shawn Michaels vs Randy Orton was a great match and a big victory for Orton in his early career. The Kane vs Shane match was great too. This is a must for Goldberg fans.

This was the hay day of WWE IMO - The Rock, Evolution, Test, Scott Steiner, Kevin Nash, and the gorgeous Stacy Keibler! This video rocks. The matches are great, commentators are great, atmosphere back in 2003 was great - worth the $!

Some of the matches are top notch; others are horrendous. I love the theme song, which is Enemy by Sevendust. The DVD had no extras to talk of. The event itself probably is not worth buying, but you might want to check it out for a few select matches.Handicap Table MatchWorld Tag Team ChampionshipsDudley Boyz VS La Resistance(c) & Rob ConwayThe set-up to this match was that all members of the team had to be put through a table before a winner could be declared. Members could stay in the match until it was over though. The match itself was average, but the table spots are nice. Conway takes a brutal spot, being thrown over the ropes through a table.RATING- 6.5/10Winner Gets Stacy Keibler's ServicesTest VS Scott SteinerI actually enjoyed the story moving into this match. The highlight video before the match really got me into the match. The match itself is not much though. Stacy want Steiner to win, and eventually interferes in the match. You probably will not watch this more than once.RATING- 6/10Randy Orton VS Shawn MichaelsWe have just reached the first awesome match of the evening. This is one of Orton's first Legend VS Legend Killer matches. There is a lot of good wrestling, and HBK hits a huge cross body splash to the outside. The ending is weird and I feel it hurt the match a lot.RATING- 8.5/10Gal Kim & Molly Holly VS Lita & TrishThis is Gail Kim's first PPV match. This is also Lita's first PPV match back after spinal surgery. This was a solid encounter, but the crowd does not seem that into it. Lita puts on a good performance.RATING- 5/10Last Man Standing Match (Match of the DVD)Kane VS Shane McMahonInsane. That is the only word that can describe this match. Actually, I lied. Let me give you a few more words. The match has a very slow pace to it, and at the beginning does not seem that great. The match picks up over time and becomes a match full of sick spots. Shane hits a glorious Coast to Coast into steel steps. The ending features Shane falling thirty-five feet.RATING- 9/10Intercontinental ChampionshipY2J VS Christian(c) VS Rob Van DamI thought that this was another well-put together match. The problem was that the crowd did not care much after the previous match. There is a ton of highflying maneuvers, and some solid wrestling. Most of the match is fought between two men, instead of three. There is a huge Tower of Doom spot.RATING- 7/10Winners Commentates RawJim Ross & Jerry Lawler VS Coach & Al SnowThere is no commentary for this match, and the crowd is dead again. You can hear echoes every now and then. The match is primarily fought between Lawler and Snow, but Coach gets a good amount of ring time. Jim Ross only gets in the ring at the end. It brought a smile to my face to see that he was enjoying himself. Jericho makes an appearance toward the end.RATING- 3/10World Heavyweight ChampionshipTriple H(c) VS GoldbergAs far as Main Event matches go, this sucked. It was fun to see Triple H finally dethroned, but it was the wrong man to do it. Triple H works on the legs of Goldberg, because Goldberg is lethal when he is standing. The match is short as well.RATING- 6/10

3 ON 2 HANDICAPPED TABLES MATCH FOR WWE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP LA RESISTANCE & ROB CONWAY VS BUBBA RAY & D-VON DUDLEY 7/10- Spike was suppose to be in this one but was injured by the frenchmen. Austin made this for the tag titles. not the best tables match but still pretty good.TEST VS SCOTT STEINER(IF STEINER WINS, GETS STACY KEIBLER BACK. IF TEST WINS, GETS STACY & STEINER'S SERVICES) 6/10- not their best match. this feud has been going on since judgment day in may. time to end it,please! ending is what helps this match.MOLLY HOLLY & GAIL KIM VS TRISH STRATUS & LITA 8/10- best women's match in a long time. mainly because of the return of lita. lita shows no ring rust after being out for 1 1/2 yrs.RANDY ORTON VS SHAWN MICHAELS 8/10- a good match between these 2. orton as the legend killer is a good gimmick. evolution is a 2nd rate imitation of the 4 horsemen. ric flair's involvement hurts this match.LAST MAN STANDING MATCHKANE VS SHANE MCMAHON 9/10- an awesome hardcore match. back & forth action helps it. kane is just brutal in his treatment of shane. this helps his monster gimmick get over even more. ending is worth the price of this dvd.TRIPLE THREAT MATCH FOR INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIPCHRISTIAN VS ROB VAN DAM VS CHRIS JERICHO 8/10- match started out as a bore. action picked up after awhile to make this a good match. several awesome moves in this one. if not for slow start, would have been a 10.JONATHAN COACHMAN & AL SNOW VS JIM ROSS & JERRY LAWLER(WINNERS BROADCAST RAW) 7.5/10- no broadcasters for this one. reminded me of going to a house show. lawler & snow carried this one. thank goodness! j.r. & coach can't wrestle. good entertainment.WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIPTRIPLE HHH VS GOLDBERG 8.5/10- a very good match between these 2. crowd was really into it. triple hhh's title reign has been way too long. reminds me of ric flair's days of cheating except flair could actually wrestle. goldberg has lost a step over the years but is still a good performer. ending is awesomwe.overall, was a good ppv. no horrible matches. raw is improving. still no special features. why is wwe cheating the fans?
