Is pond dye safe to use with fish?

This product is safe for livestock, recreation, potable water and not harmful to fish when used according to label directions.

How often should I use pond dye?

Pond dye is applied approximately every 30 days or when you notice color fading. Sometimes significant rainfall or extreme temperatures will require you to add more dye sooner than 30 days.

How do I apply this product?

Simply pour the dye into pond along the shore or from slow moving boat. Dye is concentrated and can stain rocks and dock, so be sure to apply away from these areas. Dye will mix throughout pond in 24 hours.

How much product do I use?

1 gallon of pond dye will treat 1 acre with an average depth of 4-6 feet.

How do I clean up a pond dye spill?

Do not add water to the spill! Soak up product with oil absorbent. Place the soiled absorbent in trash bag to prevent spread. Use a 50/50 bleach/water mixture to clean up rest. To clean off of hands use bleach water, but be sure to keep out of eyes.
