Brilliant sander for the price! I didn’t expect much for the cost, but this Hychika orbital sander really surprised me. It’s powerful, easy to control, and feels comfortable in the hand. The dust bag actually works, which keeps things much cleaner. I’ve used it on furniture and doors and it leaves a really smooth finish. Feels solid and well-made — great value for money and I’d happily buy it again.

No complaints here so far. Bought to sand down the surface of two oak tables/sideboards which someone who shall remain nameless, put drinking glasses and cups on, leaving horrid water rings that would not come off. I went straight in with the roughest disc (P80) and it took about 4 discs to sand down the surface to the extent that it took off the marks and could be re-waxed. There are only a few P80 discs in the pack so if you have an idea that you might need to use a rougher disc to get a harder job done, it might be an idea to purchase replacements. They are readily available in large packs of either mixed discs or specific grits. The lower the number, the more rough. As a newbie I didn't understand that the holes in the discs should line up with the holes in the sander, because that's where the dust/sawdust particles are sucked out into the collection bag. I couldn't understand why it wasn't collecting the sawdust and making a hellish mess, but I soon clicked that the dust goes through the holes into the small bag. It also stops the disc from clogging up too quickly and becoming useless. The bag itself is really tiny and does fall off occasionally, but it's better than nothing. It feels really powerful and does make your arm sore after a while from the strong vibrations. It took about 15 minutes of sanding for an average sized coffee table top. Very happy with it, from a home user. Not sure a professional woodworker would rate it as highly, but for odd jobs around the home it is very handy. Small and easy to store. Seems to have a more powerful motor compared to some others in the same price bracket. Recommended.

I bought it for a table restoration, that I needed to remove the varnish, it did the work very well, quickly and easily. The bag does catches most of the dust, but still lots of fine dust covered the room i was working in, definately use it outside. It is just fine for domestic use and upcycling projects.

The HYCHIKA Orbital Sander and it's been a game-changer for my DIY projects. The 300W motor with 6 variable speeds is fantastic – I can easily adjust it whether I'm working on delicate wood or tackling a tougher metal surface. Does the job Doesn't feel too sturdy - won't last beyond 6months. Easy to use

Needed a disk sander to smooth out the walls of the kitchen before painting. Looked at a range of different ones and went for this as they reviews looked good and it was a decent price. The sander is sturdy and came will a range of different grades of sandpaper disks which was helpful admin could get straight away. The sander made me small but it definitely packed a punch. What was taking me forever to do by hand this sander was completing with ease. The dust trap is effective. If like me you are sanding plastered walls you will still get a lot of dust, however the trap collects a fair amount. At one point I forget to put it on and couldn’t see the end of the room for dust The adjustable speed is good, however I couldn’t see a huge amount of difference between each setting out from the lowest to the highest you could. I’ve also used it to sand down an old wood seat I have outside. Again this made light work of removing the old paint. I was also given a polishing pad which I have attached and used to polish up my table which has worked a treat. My only criticisms is the ON/OFF switch. One I had used previously had this located in the handle whereas this one is on the front meaning you can only hold the sander in one hand as you switch it on. If you were to drop it the sander would also keep running whereas a switch in the handle would cut out the second pressure is reduced. Over all a great buy.

Good tool to have

This orbital sander, which has six variable speeds, a decent RPM random orbital sander, twelve pieces of sandpaper, and an electric dust collector, is very easy to use, portable, and long-lasting. Excellent quality, I'm pleased with my purchase, and it's a wonderful deal for sanding, polishing wood, do-it-yourself projects, and home improvements.
