I have read different opinions about the conductivity of the adhesive. Apparently, it is conductive but, is it conductive-though?

Yes the adhesive is conductive. We have laboratory tested the adhesive on all of our copper tapes and it is shown to be at least 57% IACS (57% conductivity of pure copper).

Question 2

This says its good for outdoor use.  Im wondering if its waterproof or water resistant? If its waterproof this would work as an alternative to paint

The adhesive is very good and hardwiring in all weathers but is classified as water resistant rather than waterproof. Therefore we couldn't guarantee that if used as an alternative to paint that it would provide a fully weatherproof layer. My suggestion would be to try a roll on a small inconsequential area and see if it works for you though as the uses for this tape are so diverse it might be just fine!

Question 3

Has anyone used this to shield the electrical cavity in a guitar?

Yes! i've  bought 3 rolls of it so far just for that purpose. I would say you can shield about 2 and 1/2 guitars with this, possibly 3 if you're more strategic in how you place it. I put hot rail single coil humbuckers in a strat I shielded. I was playing it today and put it down to tinker with my bass.....it just sat there nice and quiet, no hum or anything. Also, so far this is the best price i've found for the copper tape. Good luck!

Question 4

Has anyone used this successfully in the pacific northwest? we are known for our big slugs, and i am wondering if the tape can deter them effectively.

I grow basil every year in the PNW, and evidently, slugs and snails _love_ Thai food.  I read that copper works like an electric fence for them, so I stripped some spare scraps of house wiring to bare copper and wrapped it around my basil trunks.  No more slugs!  I think I'll try some of this tape on cardboard to make a larger fence this year.  After a rain, I may have to wipe it off, but I think it will work.  Go for it, Shadowwolf.
