Great product for making birria. Quality product and fresh. There is enough for 3 recipes.

I bought these to make barria tacos with, they were perfect and I loved that they came with each pepper I needed. They blended nicely and gave the sauce a deep red olive which I loved.

These work great for my dishes, they came fresh and easy to use in the kitchen. They smelled amazing and were spicy when used.

I can probably get this product locally for less money, but it would be an hour and a half round trip to a mexican grocery store. The peppers seemed fresh and pliable. I removed the stems, cut and de-seeded them (deArbols - I left the seeds in because they are tiny), roasted them in a cast iron skillet until the oils release, but not to the point of scorching the outer skins. After cooling I ground them into powders for use in my recipes. Great flavor, zero complaints.For anyone that is interested, the peppers yield this much powder (on average) when ground:18 Guajillo peppers (stems removed and deseeded) = approximately 80g of powder7 Ancho peppers (stems removed and deseeded) = approximately 66g of powder80 DeArbol peppers with seeds (stems removed) = approximately 48g of powderThe numbers above are not from grinding a full package, just the amount that use when I am grinding to add to my spice jars.
