Review: My favorite can opener! Works great! Very inexpensive. - I've had about 3 of these since the 80s or early 90s. One still worked but it was over 15 years old. It was given to a friend who needed an opener. The next one was somehow mistreated and the handle broke, after years, and I'm excited to get this one. It is quieter than the other two and even smoother! I am so pleased with the performance and quality of these can openers, I continue to be pleased to buy them. They work well and smoothly. Very reliable and fast. Highly recommended - and the price is amazing. I have bought other brands and none work as well. It's easy, it's plug and play, clean, and straightforward to remove the lid. Also, I have never seen it in black (my others were white). It is very sharp in black.

We are so happy that we spent our money well buying this product, and it feels great not being able to use our hands to open a can of something. We don’t have to hold it, so we just let it do it’s job on it’s own. ## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does this opener have any plastic parts? most recently I have a hamilton beach opener and the lever that pierces the can is plastic and it broke.**
A: There is a lot of metal. But ours broke when the PLASTIC piece inside that was holding on the metal lever broke!  The most important piece of the can opener!

**Q: Does you have to hold the can open while it is opening the can or is it well balanced?**
A: You do not have to hold the can while it is being open. Love the opener.

**Q: Does this can opener open different size cans?**
A: So far I have used it for soup, various sized vegetable cans & coffee cans and it has worked for all of them (knock on wood) Good Luck

**Q: cord storage?**
A: The power cord is about 2' long.  The unused portion of the cord can simply be slide into the base of the can opener so it does not lay on the counter top or tangle with other wires.  In response to other answers:   I am very happy with the product - its easy to use, opens can on first try and is an attractive little appliance.

Llevaba muchos años con un abrelatas de otra marca que aún funcionaba pero estaba oxidado y por lo tanto no me parecía muy seguro para estar en contacto con mis alimentos. Como consumo pocos alimentos enlatados, probablemente uso el abrelatas una vez cada 2 o 3 semanas. Por lo tanto, decidí esperar hasta que este producto estuviera disponible a un precio accesible y logré conseguirlo por menos de cuatrocientos pesos (no es el mejor precio que haya tenido en Amazon pero tampoco es el más caro). Al recibirlo, me di cuenta que es aún más bonito en la vida real ya que tiene un aspecto muy moderno y profesional. También pude comprobar que funciona de maravilla y requiere de muy pocos conocimientos para poder usarlo. Se integra perfectamente a mi cocina ya que es negro y combina con todo (y se ensucia con menos facilidad). Ahora solo espero que me dure por lo menos la misma cantidad de años que el anterior (aunque de preferencia incluso más).
