Great option to replace a broken button on jeans or shorts. Sooo much easier and faster than sewing a button on. One thing is after washing I found that the screw loosened. Solved that with a drop of red loctite on the threads, I would think superglue would also work if you don't have loctite.

What could be easier to replace a button on your jeans? I lost a button on a pair of shorts so after a bit of searching through products, I decided to order these. After removing the thread left from the old button, I poked a hole through the fabric with the little screwdriver that was supplied. I worked the threads of the screw through the hole and screwed the button on! Pretty easy. I may need to put some type of thread lock on it to keep it from loosening...but so far all is well.

I bought a pair of cheap jeans from China and the first day when I was wearing it, its button was broken. I ordered these to fix it and it is great! However, the pile of these buttons are a bit short and they are screwed on, so I am suspecting that after a few use the screw will be loosen up and the button may fall off when I am not noticing. But they are not that expensive, so I’m not worried for now.
