Naturium Azelaic Acid Derivative Complex 10% Serum, Niacinamide & Vitamin C, 1 fl oz

I have papulopustular rosacea and I’ve actually seen a big difference in my skin since using this. My cheeks used to be covered in little pus-filled bumps and a lot of texture, and after about 2 weeks I started noticing that they were going away. It honestly helped my skin a lot. I do want to say though, follow the instructions! It says to use it “every other day,” but I started using it every day right away. At first everything was fine, but after a while I started getting the bumps again and my skin became more irritated. I was using it every morning and night, so I definitely think I was overdoing it. I ended up taking a break and focusing on repairing my skin barrier. I used Avène Cicalfate, which helped my skin calm down, and once my skin was feeling normal again, I started using the azelaic acid again. This time I’m only using it about 3 times a week and it has been working really well for me. Also, if you’ve tried a pure azelaic acid before and couldn’t tolerate it, I think this is worth trying. I previously used Isispharma Metroruboril with 15% azelaic acid, and my skin absolutely did not like it. My face would get really red and tight, and I would get a lot of little bumps. I don’t have that same problem with this one. Another reason I bought this product in the first place is because it’s fungal-acne safe, which was really important to me when choosing an azelaic acid product. Just keep in mind that even though this is a derivative, it can still be irritating if your skin is sensitive. If my skin feels really reactive or extra red, I skip it and focus on my barrier instead. I have very sensitive skin, and using it 3 times a week has been the sweet spot for me.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I’ve been using this azelaic acid consistently for a few weeks and I’m genuinely impressed with the results. My skin is very sensitive and dry, but also acne-prone postpartum, and this has helped calm redness, smooth texture, and fade stubborn marks without irritating my skin. The formula feels lightweight and layers well with the rest of my skincare. I also love that it includes niacinamide and vitamin C, so my skin looks brighter and more even overall. Unlike some other azelaic acid products I’ve tried, this one doesn’t pill or leave my face feeling tight and dry. I noticed my skin looking calmer within the first week, and after continued use my pores and hormonal breakouts around my nose and upper lip have improved a lot. A little goes a long way, so the jumbo size is worth it. Definitely a staple in my routine now!

I read the reviews before buying and there was mentions about this smelling weird and confirm it’s true but I looked it up and it’s cause it’s in its pure form and it’s medical so no fragrances added. This doesn’t sting or burn, I was scared for that but everything was fine my skin reacted good. I like how the bottle is glass like and I’ve seen improvement already since using it. It hasn’t dried my face or made it red but I am using 2-3 times weekly. Good quantity for the price and it’s not heavy on the skin.

I wanted to incorporate Azelaic Acid into my skincare routine and came across this serum, looking for a product with at least 10% Azelaic Acid. My skin concerns are uneven skin tone, sebaceous filaments, enlarged pores and a tendency for hormonal acne around my chin area combined with the need to also support my skin in its aging process (I’m 43). I have been using this for roughly a month in a skin routine where I use peptides, AHAs, BHAs and retinoids on alternating days/times. I no longer like to use harsh BHAs (besides of a 2% salicylic acid treatment 3 times per week), especially not on a daily base. This is an effective yet gentle serum and it also contains niacinamide as well which is a bonus. You could probably use this daily if your skin tolerates it, but I use peptides in the morning which can cancel out acids and vice versa if used in the same routine, so I use this on peptide-free mornings or retinoid-free nights. I really like Naturium as a brand, I also use their 2% Salicyclic Acid a few times per week and both of these products haven’t irritated my skin but have improved skin texture and I now barely get any impurities anymore at all.

I also appreciate that it hasn’t caused irritation or dryness, which can sometimes happen with stronger treatments. It layers well under moisturizer and sunscreen and doesn’t pill. I’ve used it both in the morning and at night without any issues. Overall, it’s a gentle yet effective option if you’re looking to target redness, minor breakouts, or uneven skin tone without overwhelming your skin.

It works okay but I cannot get over the smell. It smells horrible to the point where I can’t get myself to use it. I haven’t noticed any different in my skin but that is probably because I’ve only used it a few times due to the smell. I saw other reviews say it smells like saliva and it 1000% does.

I've been using this for over 3 months now, and I can say it works but you need to be consistent. The results weren't immediate, but after a couple of months, the improvement was noticeable enough that friends who hadn't seen me in a while complimented my skin. If you're patient and use it regularly, it's worth trying. I started using it for my post-pimple marks (hyperpigmentation). They haven't disappeared completely yet, but they've improved, and I'm hopeful they'll continue to fade with continued use. Overall, my skin texture has definitely improved.

Excellent product during pregnancy. Helped with my inflammation and mild acne. Very gentle on the skin.

I have been using this product from past 1 month. Nothing noticeable yet.The hyperpigmentation is still there,no glow or anything great to make me fall in love with this product.It didn't break me out,so I m still using it.
