Literally the best hand puppet I've ever stuck my hand inside.
If it were possible to give this critter a sixth star, I would. We encountered him at the indoor area of a local state park and fell in love with him and a deer fawn, also (it turns out) from Folkmanis. Bought home versions as soon as I got home. It's simple, but the mouth and hands are positioned "just so" somehow, so the Raccoon is incredibly expressive with minimal effort. It's almost possible to forget it's my own hand when I'm arguing with him about the merits of childrens' book poetry in front of my giggling daughter. I have named him "Trash Panda" and he has become a most important member of the household, eclipsing even Assistant to the Doctor Mad Scientist Kitty Cat, famed for instigating the great T-Rex Zoo rebellion of 2025. Pictured eating a fish and expounding upon the various virtues of defecating in a toilet.

Super cute puppet!
Absolutely AMAZING puppet! I saw a video of it on the internet once, and went to Barnes & Noble to buy it the next day. it is SO CUTE I built a park ranger costume as a reason to bring it out to Halloween/Comic-Con, and got SO MANY delightful positive reactions to it, and my 3/6 year old Niece/Nephew love when I bring him out I love it so much I've bought a 2nd one as a backup. Note that it might look a little frumpy by default, I ended up trimming the hair a tiny bit so you can see the eyes better.

口を閉じたり開けたり、パカパカさせながらしゃべるとものすごくウケる。 意外と（？）大人の方が喜んでくれます。 本物のアライグマは恐ろしい動物らしいけど、これなら平気。 両手で何か持って渡りたり、握手したりすると、びっくりするほど喜んでいただけます。

Uncanny appearance, but hard to control arms and mouth at the same time for a big-handed person.
My first reaction when I opened my package is that there was a sleeping animal in there. The raccoon has a certain uncanny realness to it that one can't get over until you closely inspect it. It looks great and almost like a real animal with you make it move. The downside is that it is quite difficult with one hand (and I have large hands) to reach both arms and insert fingers in the narrow opening where the mouth moves. My young son (9 years old) was able to move the mouth, but could not reach the arms at the same time. Pity I didn't have one of those puppet control sticks where I could push a lever and make the mouth move. Then I would just have to focus on mouth the arms with my hand....
