My review is for the plastic capsule and not the quality of espresso. I’ve used 2 capsules so far and will not use anymore. The fit is tight when putting in my machine and the water flows through very slowly. It seems like continuous use of these will break my machine so I’m not going to use them. I will go back to the aluminum ones which seem to work better. As for the taste of the espresso, it was pretty good. But not worth the risk of breaking my machine. This is an update to my previous review…the seller reached out to me and offered a full refund. They also sent me their product but in aluminum capsules. I appreciate how responsive they were and willing to work with me. I wasn’t expecting anything after writing my original review but was pleasantly surprised. Their espresso has an excellent flavor and I will definitely purchase their aluminum capsules in the future.

Espresso Italia 100 Variety Pack Pods This is my first time using the Nespresso type of pod. The first thing I noticed about the taste was that it is strongly intense—knock you out of your seat intense. I haven’t had a lot of espresso, but I don’t remember it being this strong. You get a full, strong coffee flavor. I love getting knocked out of my seat. The next thing I noticed was the bitter aftertaste. You can’t have one without the other, or so I have been told. Because I love the rich and bold flavor, I’m accepting the bitter aftertaste. It really isn’t too bad once you expect it. Some of the flavors have a crema that is creamy and helps smooth out the bitterness. The pods work like champs. The foil doesn’t tear off. There are no grounds at the bottom of your cup. Everything does exactly what it’s supposed to do. I haven’t tried all of the flavors yet, but the ones called Cremosa are my favorites so far.

These pods aren’t working in my machine. The coffee is mostly water in my cup. The cover on the pod is too thick to make the coffee. Don’t Buy !!The pod on bottom opened up but the other pod not enough water was getting through.

Price was good … was not sure about the strength but was really presently surprised! Worth it, will continue to buy!

I've been using these for several years and they seem to have recently taken a dip in quality. Frankly, some of the capsules are simply undrinkable nowadays.
