From the BMC Toys AMERICAN HERO COLLECTOR SERIES, the workhorse tank of the Allies: The SHERMAN M4 TANK has lots of authentic detail and features a turret that swivels.Made from stiff, very durable, dark green polypropylene plastic with very little flashing, measures 7.5 x 3.5 x 3.75 inches tall and is 1:32nd (54mm) scale.This tank's official designation is Medium Tank, M4. More than 50,0000 were produced during WW2, and the Sherman Tank was involved with nearly every operational theater of the war.BMC Toys was founded by Bill McMaster in 1991 and specializes in producing historically accurate plastic army men figures, playsets and accessories in the classic style of the 1950s and 1960s. Packaged in plain polybag and recommended for ages 5 and up. The 2017 release features an all new optional sticker sheet.

**Q: Is this tank(bmc wwii sherman m4) fully assembled and ready to play with?**
A: Yes.  It may help you to understand that this is a "soft plastic" model similar to the soft plastic that Marx 54mm (or, 1/32 scale) and similar plastic army men are made out of, as opposed to the hard plastic of a typical plastic model kit.  Point being, this is not a model kit you must assemble, it is ready to go out of the box.

**Q: how long is the tacks from end to end?**
A: Your question seems to imply that the track is a separate component of the tank; that it is either removable or movable.  It is not.  The track is molded solid with the tank hull; only the turret is movable (rotates--however, the gun is molded solid with the turret, so it does not elevate or depress).  This is constructed exactly like the tanks that originally came with the Marx 54mm WWII Battleground playsets; except that it is much more solid--using a high-quality plastic and, unlike the original Marx Battleground playset tanks, this tank is the perfect/correct scale for 54mm (or 1/32 scale). The measurements for the BMC Sherman tank are about 7 1/2" end-to-end, 4" tall (base of tracks to top of turret), and 3 1/2" wide.  This BMC Sherman tank is also far superior to the tanks produced by CTS, which--although advertised as 54mm (1/32nd scale) are both incorrect scale (closer to 48mm or 1/40th scale) and not as solid.  If you are looking for a 54mm Sherman to complement your Marx Battleground or similar collection, you will not be disappointed in this tank.

**Q: Which is more accurate size Sherman tank - BMC or Forces of Valor ?**
A: The bmc tank goes well with my toy army men.  It is essentially a plastic toy tank not a model.  Never used forces of valor.
