how many cups are in a bag?

There are about 17 cups in a bag. I have been feeding my dog for 2 years and she loves it.

Does it have to be rehydrated?

While we recommend that the food is rehydrated because hydration is so important to a dog and cat’s health, this product does not need to be rehydrated. You may feed it as is, or eve use it as a topper over other foods. Hope this helps.

What is the shelf life on this product? Could it be used for food storage?

One of the benefits of freeze dried food is that the shelflife is much longer than its raw counterpart. Typically, the shelflife of this food is 18 months after its manufacture date. Depending on which batch you receive, you will have ample time to feed it to your dog or cat.
