I don't know how I survived without the longer one. Creaky joints? Socks to put on, shoes to tie? Oh yeah, gotta have this.

I’m getting a little older and some of these shoes are getting harder to get on without a lot of bending and tugging. I ordered this shoe horn set and it did not disappoint. I like that there are two sizes. The longer is great for at home and keeps me from having to bend too much. The shorter one fits perfectly in my toiletries bag for travel. They are great quality and look as pictured. I ordered metal for durability and these feel as if they will last for years. The price was not bad at all. I would 100% recommend these.

Being as it's often difficult to determine the quality of items just from photos, I was pleasently surprised to find that these shoehorns exceeded my expectations a hundred-fold. I have to take their word that these shoehorns are stainless, but there is no question that they are high quality, heavy gauge and extremely sturdy.

I am already a little bit in love with the 16.5 inch shoe horn. I grew up with a father would worked a couple decades selling women's shoes at a major U.S. retailer, and I was schooled on the benefits of a good shoe horn for both making it easier to put on a pair of shoes but, perhaps more importantly, to help maintain the integrity of the shoe itself. I've used a small (probably only 4 inch) stainless steel shoe horn for many decades. My reason for this purchase was primarily to make it easier for my wife to put on shoes after her imminent total knee replacement surgery. I was steered away from the various options for the 30+ inch shoe horns due to complaints of bending, so I opted for one with about half that length (plus a spare smaller one.) My wife will not be able to merely stand up straight to use the 16.5 inch model, but there is essentially no bending over from a seated position to use it. The shoe horn is very sturdy and yet not too bulky when placed into a shoe. It's not that I didn't get any flexibility benefit from bending way over all these years using my small shoe horn, but it's very nice not needing to do it so often.

These are not a smooth continuous curve. These have more of a rounded V bend down the middle of them. That style has given me problems in the past but these seem to work without hurting the back of my heel. The metal is thick so I can’t see these bending like others I’ve seen.

The 16.5" long shoe horn metal thickness is 2 mm, and the 7.5" long one is 1.5 mm, so you will never bend them with normal use. Stainless steel is a magnetic type, and finish is brushed. Very comfortable to use. Really satisfied with these.

Quality strength! Nice that one handle is long and one is short. You can use the short one for travel. Metal is stronger than the plastic or wooden ones.

Sturdy, effective, doesn't twist and bend. Love both sizes. Good price.I've recently purchased 3 other brands and these are by far the best. The others have already been trashed.
