Long story short version of my review: I ordered a size Large and size Extra Large that ended up being gifts to my sister's cats, who love them. These are very cute and cozy pet tent beds - I'm very happy with them. For dog parents: I would suggest that if your dog is over 10 lbs, the Extra Large size is probably best. Long-winded version: I originally bought these pet tent beds as gifts for my parents' dog. The Large size of this pet tent was just barely big enough for my parent's 14 lb dog (Pomeranian and terrier mix). It would have worked for her if she liked to be curled up in a cozy space (there was no room to stretch out for her in the Large pet tent), but it seemed she did not want to be curled up - even though we tossed in treats as motivation. It didn't help that my parents insisted on putting this pet bed in a place where their dog did not like to be, so their dog never used it. I ended up asking my parents if I could give this Large pet tent to my sister's cats, and her cats immediately loved it. I then ordered the Extra Large size, and it was the more appropriate size for my parents' dog - she would have had room to stretch out and sleep whichever way she wanted to. Again, however, my parents insisted on putting this pet bed in a place where their dog did not like to be, despite our suggestions to move it to where she's accustomed to being. So, I also gave that Extra Large size to my sister's cats, who loved it. (I ended up getting my parents' dog a soft sweater, and that seems to be the way to go to help keep her warmer in their cool house.) I think this is a very cute pet bed that makes a very cozy spot. Due to varying pet personalities, I'm not docking any stars if a pet didn't like it - maybe my parents' dog would have never liked it even with optimal conditions. The build quality on the beds seems good, there were no holes or loose threads or anything. I will note, this is not good pet bed if you have a puppy or dog with destructive energy - it will not last long in that circumstance, and it isn't meant to. It's meant to be a soft plush cozy den bed, and it succeeds in that regard. The photos my sister showed me of her cats dozing while curled up in these beds made me very happy.

Great bed, generous size. I have two Chihuahua's & they both loved it so much, I got a second one so the could each have their own. I got the 19x19 & it's perfect for them. I even put a bed pillow in each one for extra softness. Easy for them to get in & out of. Door opening is nice size & they can curl up & feel they have their own space. My stood up nicely. The second one has fold creases from packing, but it still stands up fine. Could use for a poodle size dog too. Would recommend.

My cats love these, they are very roomy and soft! the opening looked the biggest out of all the color options when ordering so i'm definitely glad i went with this one! My tuxedo cat is a little chunky so the last tent i bought had too small of an opening so he loves this one because he has a ton of room. he also rests his head on the edge because of the sturdy opening, definitely amazing quality and worth the money! I had to buy a second because they kick each other out of it haha, would definitely recommend for cats!

If you have a SMALL dog (like 15 lbs and under) who really likes to burrow and get under or inside of things ... then this is almost PERFECT! Quick story before bed review: My female Schnauzer is small, around 14 lbs and she is always burrowing somewhere and creating new hiding/sleeping spots. Well, I bought a new French Bulldog and brought his hard transport kennel into my room 6 months ago ... and it was still in my bedroom, until a few days ago. Why?, my female Schnauzer adopted it and absolutely loved sleeping in it at night when I finally went to bed. The hard kennel is ugly and bulky and was awkward to keep moving every few weeks ... so I purchased this tent-style bed for her. At first, she rebelled and kept smelling it and was looking for her old "bed". It did have an odor, so I wiped it down with unscented wipes. Then I put all of her old bedding and blankets inside it and put it on air/fluff in the dryer with a slightly damp washcloth. After 30-40 minutes, it was fresh and had her scent on it, too. I put it back in the bedroom and added one of her blankets ... presto ... she loved her new home! As far as the bed evaluation ... I bought the "jumbo" and it's exactly the right size for my small Schnauzer. At first it wasn't as poofy as the pic. To make it poof out I noticed to tab in the center top ... lift up and it collapses but if you put light pressure on the tab it poofs out. To "set" its shape, I put a folded towel on top for a couple of days and it definitely worked ... then removed it. Last point of evaluation is ... evidently it must be HOT! I live in Texas but unfortunately, I bought this in the Summer. I noticed that from time to time, she was sleeping with part if her body hanging out the front opening ... her head was basically laying on the tile floor. Normally, she is always cold and I predict it will be great in Fall and Winter. Ok ... to summarize ... great if your dog burrows, is small, gets cold easily and you air out the stinky chemical smell and set its shape to help proof it out (otherwise it can collapse). Btw ... she loves it so much that when my now 9 month old French bulldog gets within a few feet of it ... she verbally gives him a tongue lashing and shows her teeth. No one will be sharing her tiny tent bed for 1!

As soon as I set this up and my 17 lb Shih Tzu discovered it, she climbed inside! To my delight - she stayed for several hours! I ordered the XL size and it was plenty of room for her. I think this would easily accommodate a dog (or cat) 20-25 lbs. I have 2 Shih Tzus, but only ordered 1 Tent Bed because one of my fur-babies is blind. I figured she wouldn't know the difference between a Tent Bed and her other beds I have sitting around for her. WRONG! Shortly after her sister vacated the Tent Bed - my 15 lb Blind Shih Tzu found it and climbed in to it. And she LOVED IT TOO! Soooooo yes.... I immediately ordered a 2nd one! I have ordered Tent beds before but they all fall flat very quickly! I have only had this for a couple of days - but I can tell it's made differently then the others. Much better quality. Holding it's shape beautifully so far! And there is a pillow on the inside that you can easily take out to wash when needed. Both my girls love to burrow in to piles of things - pillows - clothes - anything soft - and sleep. This is PERFECT for them! They both love it - and what makes my fur-babies happy - makes me happy :) The picture is with my 15 lb Blind Shih Tzu curled up inside taking a snooze. I'm so glad I found these! Yay!!!! If you are thinking about getting this - just do it! You won't be sorry!!! :)

Every dog or cat should have such an igloo or house, or little nook, whatever you want to call this “pet tent.” I used to have a similar item like this, and I remember how much my Bren level chihuahua loved it. I saw an ad for one on Amazon and I bought it right away. It gives Cali, my little girl an area of her own to feel safe. She is also very much a “lapdog,” which is fine but when company is over I can do what I call her one trick: I say “Go in your house” and she immediately, every time obeys and curls up in her house. My dog used to always want to sleep pretty much between my legs, which gets restrictive for me (and my girlfriend hates it!) Now, right when it’s time to sleep she goes directly for her tent house. I bundle her up with blankets in there, and it comes with a nice, cushiony bed pillow. She hides treats in there, will scratch around until she makes her little bed nook perfect. It also has a loop on top, so if I don’t want to wake her up too much, or just put her directly in the car, I can carry the whole bed tent from the top loop. I’m actually planning on buying a second one, so I have one that’s for the bed only, and another for the rest of the house. 5 stars!

After reading the reviews we decided on the XL for our 11 lb Yorkie. We bought him an igloo when he was a baby and he had more than outgrown it so I kept looking for a replacement. After several months of looking and one purchase that didn't work (it was too small), we decided to try this tent. Pros: It arrived yesterday!!! The packaging was excellent and there are no issues with collapsing sides as stated by another user. It is plush, the pillow thick and comfy (added his own blankie on top as well). As with other fur babies, at first he was a little trepidatious about a new "cave" but it did not take long for him to realize it was for him. He LOVES it!!! There is plenty of room to play, stretch out and have toys - it really is like a pup tent for him!! I lost track of him in the house a few times yesterday and he was in the back cuddled in... this is the best "cave" purchase since his puppy cave!! Fast shipping, soft, and exactly what our little king wanted! It has a huge amount of room, he can stand, turn, fully stretch out to lie down - perfect! Con: I can see why those that washed this in a machine on gentle have had trouble with it falling apart. For a low $35.00 it is more than worth the purchase price to hand wash (we're thinking in the shower). The bottom material is a bit delicate and will most definitely melt in the dryer or fall apart in a washing machine but this has also happened with several beds we have purchased. The quality is excellent for the price though I would not recommend this for a large breed.

My yorkie loves this bed. So glad we bought this. I believe he feels safe and warm inside the bed. Uses it all the time.

I bought this for my puppy who has anxiety. We travel a lot and she is often going to stay with friends or in hotel rooms with us when we bring her. I thought having her own dedicated space where she felt safe and comfortable would help with the transitions, and I was right! She loves her little house. It is super soft, comfy and cozy. She’s a 22lb Boston terrier and it fits her perfectly. The house is light and folds down for easy packing. Extremely well Made. It’s a home and a bed. I highly recommend this product! Daisy loves it so much she stopped wanting to sleep with me!

I bought it for my two Bengal cats. It is really well made. Has a cute cushion inside. Has lots of room. It is worth the money!

My pom’s favourite dog bed out of all. However, she managed to nick a hole in the cushion centre when her nails were just trimmed and she was digging at it/fluffing it out - I advise to add a blanket/towel on top of cushion just in case if that happens or grind the dog’s nails after a trim prior to use if you can . Love that it’s very light and travel friendly.
