Is this the real deal, or is it a knock-off counterfeit? How is the price-per-ounce so low compared to other sizes?

I am not health profession but for me Metamucil is more meant as an immediate solution (something that will work in 8 hours or so. Benefiber is a supplement that is more meant to be taken as a maintenance product and will help your overall digestive health for the long-term
