As a grandmother, I'm always looking for new, fun, yet challenging games for my 11-year-old grandson to have at my house when he visits. The Genius Star did not disappoint! He loved it so much that he asked for it for his upcoming birthday to keep at his house. It can be played alone or with another person, and it definitely makes you think. The game is made of blocks of different sizes that fit into the star grid. My 8-year-old granddaughter asked to play, and she liked it too.

Great game! It can be easy or challenging, and everyone in our family (ages 12-50) love it! You can play an infinite number of times and have different outcomes. I highly recommend for anyone who likes brain games or just challenging themselves.

I own & love Genius Square so I had to purchase this game even though I am told that it is harder than Genius Square. I personally thought that the directions were well explained & that the game was easy to learn. I heard that it took about 20 minutes to play this game during a demo on youtube; however, I can play some of the games in under 10 minutes depending on the roll of the dice & how hard that particular game is. While all games are supposedly solvable, I have come across the occasional game that I could not solve. It would be nice if you could go to the web site to get the solution since there are no solutions that come with the game. You can go to the web site to get random numbers that will allow you to have all of the blockers to play with the Gold Star ensuring a solution. I love pattern recognition games like this. The game is very enjoyable & rewarding when the puzzle is solved. The game is well made. Both the blockers & colored pieces needed to play are easy for a senior citizen to handle. The printed numbers on the playing board are large enough to easily be seen. While I cannot speak as to the ease of play for children of certain age groups, I can say that adults would like this game. This game would make a nice gift.

Absolutely fabulous! Great for kids in grades 3-5 but I’m sure you can go older or younger. It’s an interesting visual/logical challenge-I use it in my classroom and have given this as a gift. The pieces are wooden which is nice as the plastic stuff just gets broken. It’s a deceptively simple concept-just place the parts on the star but don’t let that fool you-it’s a challenge in the best sense. Enjoy!

I'm in love with this game! More than 165,000 possible puzzles to play while It flexes memory and spacial reasoning. it's a joy! I'm really proud of myself and thoroughly enjoy this unique, single, or 2 player game. It's easy to learn while fun and challenging to play. Absolutely would recommend for players of all ages.

Love the simplicity yet challenge of this game. Perfect for our family. Our kids are 14,12,10 and 8.

My 11 year old grandson loved it. He enjoyed the Genius Square game and the Genius Star is the next level. I hope this company has another more difficult level game. We all compete against each other and the kids usually win. Family fun

Schnelle, sehr gut verpackte Lieferung! Das Genius SQUARE hatten wi uns im Urlaub gekauft und hatten nach einigen Spielen recht schnell die expert Lösung. Also ein neue Spiel auf höherem Niveau, das Genius STAR. Jetzt knobeln wir uns die Köpfe heiß und haben es trotzdem nur selten geschafft! Eine echte Herausforderung fürs Gehirn ! Nachtrag: Nach 2 Std Training hatte ich den Dreh raus und wir konnten das Wettspiel starten ! Und jetzt macht es richtig Spaß! Nachtrag: Nach einem Monat macht es uns ältwren Damen einfach nur noch Spaß und ist nicht mehr zu schwierig.
