I received softgels which are about 4mm in size.

I bought this Kirkland brand several months ago. It doesn't expire until May of 2024. I take one every morning so have no fear of this bottle expiring before this date is over.

To the company: is the actual vitamin d sourced from the usa or china?

It works for me. For years I worked in windowless places and got little sun. I was very surprised when a vitamin took away my am body aches. Have taken it for several years.
