It's really nice and is ground into a powder, makes good strong coffee, it just costs too much, can get coffee that's almost as good for half the price.

The coffee is great but is should be stated in the description that the best before date is just 2 months and a half...bought a pack of 6 in mid december and have to use them until 3/02/2022...

I think it must be luck of the draw on how long you have left to use the coffee I ordered in April and it was use by August. To those surprised about the short dates, what were you expecting for over half price? Of course it is short dated. Anyway the date is only a guide and it’s not like fresh milk or fish and you’d probably get another 3 months out of it at least. All in all GREAT value on the coffee that I pay double for in store. Will defo purchase again.

Ho provato questo caffè con la mia caffettiera americana e il risultato è stato ottimo. Il profumo è intenso già mentre si prepara, e il gusto è forte ma equilibrato, con una nota di caramello che lo rende davvero piacevole. La tostatura è decisa, come piace a me, e si sente che è un prodotto di qualità. 📦 Le confezioni sono pratiche e ben sigillate, e il formato da 6 sacchetti è comodo per chi consuma caffè ogni giorno. ☕️ Ideale per chi ama un caffè corposo e aromatico, anche senza dover andare al bar. Lo consiglio a chi cerca un caffè macinato da usare nella macchina americana, con un sapore simile a quello che si trova nei locali Starbucks.

El Expresso Roast es, en mi experiencia, una elección sobresaliente para quienes disfrutan el café en su forma más pura: solo, sin leche, sin azúcar y sin ningún tipo de edulcorante. Se trata de un café de carácter profundamente intenso, con un tueste muy oscuro que potencia notas tostadas, amargas y ligeramente ahumadas. Es un perfil rotundo, sin concesiones, pensado para paladares que buscan profundidad y persistencia en boca. Preparado en cafetera de filtro, ofrece un equilibrio sorprendente dentro de su intensidad: la extracción es más controlada, se respetan mejor los matices del grano y se evita una sobreconcentración excesiva. En este método, el resultado es un café firme, estructurado y muy satisfactorio para quienes aprecian un sabor pleno y directo. No lo considero la mejor opción para cafetera italiana (moka). Este sistema, por su propia mecánica —agua que asciende a alta temperatura y presión moderada— tiende a sobreextraer los tuestes muy oscuros, potenciando amargores ásperos y notas quemadas que pueden eclipsar las cualidades más interesantes del café. Para este tipo de cafetera, suele funcionar mejor un tueste medio o medio-oscuro, que soporte mejor la temperatura elevada y conserve mayor equilibrio. En definitiva, si se busca un café poderoso, sin artificios y con identidad marcada, el Expresso Roast, bien preparado en filtro, es una opción excelente.
