I first read these to my daughter when she was about eight. Although aimed at children, even as an adult I thought these books were amazing. Great world building and characters. Worth reading as an adult.

Great collection. And definitely value for money buying them in this set then separately.

The title is from the words of my beloved thirteen year old son to describe the stories contained within these ‘chronicles’. An inveterate non-reader, he is into the third book of the series. If the tales within this collection can hold and further fascinate the mind of one whose first words, when entering the world, were ‘Neither a washer-upper nor a reader be’ then they have to be pretty good. Don’t you think?

The series itself is great, but mostly I'm reviewing the seller as they sorted out a problem really fast and went above and beyond for me.

The only reason that its only 5 stars is because one of the books have cover damage but apart from that they are in great quality!

Bought the six-pack in box although had already read the first book but this is better value. These are paper-backs but decent quality and resemble the hard backs, if a little smaller, and include the illustrations you'd expect. Very happy and looking forward to reading to our grandson

Nice collection for children and adults and can recommend it to anyone

We were looking for books for my daughter to read which would give her a larger breadth of genre as she was obsessed with Dork Diaries, Dog Man, basically cartoon type books. She loved this series!

Fantastic Series

This was my favorite series as a kid growing up and still is. It's complex and well written enough to enjoy as an adult and is a wonderful series for all ages. My original copies are still in really good condition and I wanted to keep them that way and get this set to continue rereading the series. They're beautiful and still have the art inside at the beginning of each chapter. Really happy with this purchase 😁

Fun books, totally appropriate for my 12 year old. In the spirit of Rangers Apprentice and Haddix Among the… series.
