Great game
Good game, good expansion for X-Men fans

A great addition, but "missing" some favorites.
Before talking about the set, you should understand that buying this addon won't give you "all" of your favorite New Mutants. Despite being on the cover (!), Magik IS NOT in this set; she's in Secret Wars, Volume 1. Cannonball appears in Legendary X-Men. This set gives you the rest of the gang, Sunspot, Wolfsbane, Mirage,Warlock, and Karma.However, if you like the other New Mutants there is a lot to love in this set! Wolfsbane, and a number of the villains, bring with them the "Sunlight" and "Moonlight" mechanic, and you will find yourself selectively buying and destroying cards in order to manipulate the time of day. Another new mechanic is that of the "Waking Nightmare," which forces you to discard a card. At first that sounds like a bad thing, and it can be, but there are cards that get stronger after a waking nightmare, and cards that mitigate the effect of the Waking Nightmare.For Villains, you get Emma Frost and her Hellions (a big selling point, if you ask me!) as well as the Demons of Limbo. The Limbo villains are really fun, but makes the absence of Magik a little bit annoying for those of you who like to think of the "story" when you play these games.I was also very pleased with some of the schemes. I was not expecting to see "The Demon Bear Saga" represented in card form! And let me tell you, true believer, it is a doozy.If you're a New Mutants fan, this expansion does a lot to cater to you. If you're less familiar with the New Mutants, you might still enjoy the new mechanics, and the kids in the New Mutants have the same symbol (as far as my old-man eyes can tell!) as the other X-Men, so you might find some synergy with your other cards.

Love Everything Marvel Legendary!
They can not release new packs fast enough, however, I still have so many unplayed cards!

One of the funnest expansions. Severely underrated. Changes the dynamic of the game constantly without over complicating things.
