If I could give it a 4.5 I would. Simply due to sizing. I ordered one for each leg, one calf measuring 14.5", the other 16". So I ordered one M and one L. The medium fit great on that leg, the large is to big in the other, but the medium has about 1/8 inch of Velcro that doesn't overlap and is against your skin. It's the dough, not the fuzzy side of the Velcro The medium fits up to 16" inches according to sizing chart. Realistically about 15.75". And with the large it puckers along the opening and does not have a good fit anywhere It would be nice to see those measurements overlap. Say the medium have slightly longer strap so it fits up to 16.5" and then the Velcro wouldn't have that issue. As the medium really fits nicely aside from that. That being side. Overall brace is a 5 star brace. Finding a high support level brace that is not the large fiberglass off loader NFL players wear and runs $3-5,000 is difficult. I have one knee completely reconstructed 30 yrs ago and needs the track under the knee cap reconstructed or replaced at this point. Due to soft ticcue in good shape, looks better than most half my age, no one really wants to do anything with it. However, knee cap has no track to float on without additional tracking support. 3 yrs in NFL off loader has wrecked major havoc with minor 10ur old injury to opposite knee. It's a waiting game. How long can pain level be managed and knee made functional with assistance until forced to replace. This knee brace so far helps relieve stress on the soft tissues that are overcompensating for lack of bone structure. It provides relief from pain from overuse when resting. Simply switching to this brace after running on a softball field all day allows whole knee to relax and rest without compromising anything. $56 is expensive compared to many off the rack braces, but compared to my 10% copay of $240 after insurance initial 50% (my part being 10% of total cost), it is much more affordable. And provides better stabilization specific to the patella (knee cap) which according to my DR there are few options specific to stabilizing movement equally on both lateral and medical sides. J brace is most common, but only assists with one side or the other, and with essentially no track under the knee cap a J brace will simply cause more damage long term. Kudos to manadaxture for stabilizing both sides.

this knee brace is great, not only for compression but the side stabilizer prevents the knee from twisting when I walk. at my age almost all of the cartilage in my knee is gone, i can hear the grinding sound in my knee when i walk. my therapist said this really helps during our PT session.

The only issue I have with it are the Velcro straps that go across the knee. They won’t stay Velcroed and I always have to stop what I am doing to fix it. Other than that it’s a good knee brace.

I purchased 5 different braces for my son who has reoccurring patellar subluxation. This brace provided the best support, specifically around the kneecap. It has several different straps which makes it fully adjustable for a perfect fit. My son was able to return to his basketball season using this brace. Unfortunately, I can’t give it 5 stars because after only two weeks one of the Velcro straps around the knee stopped sticking. He is now using sports tape on the strap to keep it in place. Very disappointing because it does provide the best support!

Let's be honest, not all knee problems are the same. Some of us are looking for stability, others for comfort. Looking at all the braces on the market can be confusing to say the least. This brace is not only comfortable and gives you stability, but it's affordable ! I've been wearing knee braces for 40 years, and needless to say I've been through quite a few. TIMTAKBO has me impressed to the point where I had to share my thoughts. This brace has the ability to be adjusted to be comfortable when you need it most, like when it swells up from over doing it. I not only have (restless leg syndrome) but when over doing it, sometimes my knee swells to the point where my old brace won't even fit over my knee cap. The Velcro on this brace can be adjusted to allow a better fit on those days. The material used is ALWAYS comfortable, and the straps can be adjusted at any time. The hinged metal braces on each side are well padded, and I barely notice that they are even there, until I bump into something. Also can be removed if not needed. The MOST important thing is the FIT ! PLEASE use the SIZE CHART for the correct FIT. It doesn't matter how much a product cost or what material is used ..... IF it doesn't fit properly to start ! P.S. Kuddos to the Product development team, Linda and the Support team !

Cannot use it. It takes two people to manage to get it on. Very disappointed

Finally a supportive, affordable brace! I hurt my knee 3weeks ago and have been on crutches waiting for an MRI. My old brace hurts the back of my knee. I ordered a different one and it was not supportive where I needed. This one is probably a little big for me because the patella straps cover probably more than intended, but my thigh needs the XXL for the top strap. (Photo shows the strap barely overlaps) The side support is full length and solid, the extra support for the patella is just what I needed. I feel better walking. When my knee wanted to buckle, the brace caught it. It also kind of helps spring my foot forward a bit while walking which is helpful. I did use black sharpie on the bright orange "pull" labels to dull them down. Lol. Overall very happy with purchase!

Cette orthèse offre un très bon soutien et elle trouve que ça l’aide réellement au quotidien. Elle reste bien en place et ne glisse pas. Les multiples attaches répartissent bien la pression, ce qui fait que ce n’est pas trop serré malgré le bon maintien. L’orthèse est ferme, mais l’intérieur est assez doux pour éviter les plaies de pression, ce qui est important pour une personne âgée. On apprécie aussi beaucoup le fait qu’elle s’ouvre complètement : c’est beaucoup plus facile de l’aider à la mettre que les modèles qu’il faut enfiler par le pied. Les mesures correspondent bien à la taille indiquée. Très bonne orthèse, bien ajustée et efficace. On la recommande.

I really like the brace, pros: really heping my knee and good support. Cons: I ordered an XL as per measurements, I should of ordered a large as the straps are to long and hard to snug around the knee, maybe it just me and measured wrong, but still does the trick

it supported my knee well and was comfortable. doesn't fit well under stretch athletic pants though.

This works amazing. I had really bad knee pain and could barely walk. I used it for two days and wow now I am not wearing it again and my knee feels like a brand new knee. Highly recommended this and glad I got it. Now anytime my knee acting up I will put it on and when it is on it is very comfortable.

The quality is good and the delivery was fast. I took my measurement of my thigh as per the Amazon ad, but the fit isn't quite right for me. Although it fits well at the thigh and calf, there is a bit of a bulge at the knee because it's too big at the knee. I wish there was a velcro strap in the middle, at the knee, so that I could adjust it. It does feel more supportive for my knee, though, and I'm not in as much pain when I walk when I wear the knee brace (I have a meniscal tear).
