Velvet Cloak

The length of the Cape was exactly as described. And was maybe a little too long for me. But that's what I was looking for period it is a very beautiful blue and the fit is Good but I wish it was a little bit wider to come down in front of me instead of just to the inside of my shoulders, but it was definitely warm enough without being too heavy. All around. I am very satisfied with my purchase.

This cape worked great for my witches night costume. It’s lightweight which is great for AL, but didn’t notice that it was see through. The only things I had to modify were the length and the tie. Being 5’2”, I ended up hemming the cape about 6” and it still was plenty long enough and flowing. The tie isn’t that great, but I accessorized with a brooch type thing to keep it fastened better.

Bought this for a devil costume for Halloween. I’m a 3x plus size girlie and you can’t wrap it all the way around you but for me that’s perfect cause why hide the outfit. It’s thick enough it’s not entirely see through but still shows a bit of light through it but for the price you get what you pay for, although it’s still perfect otherwise. I’m about 5’5-5’6 and it’s wayyyy too long I’m gonna have to cut about 5inches off the bottom to stop stepping on it, easy fix.

Two words if you cosplay or go to fairs and events. BUY IT! Thank me later! This cloak looks amazing and fits very well for any size person. It fits me and im 6,6! Its made of a very thin material and is not very warm which is good in the summer. Comes in multiple colors and ties close. Just do yourself a favor and buy it for your next costume gathering!

Description is a little misleading as it’s printed to look textured like velvet but it’s just a thin lightweight fabric…. Honestly I Should’ve known it wasn’t velvet at that price… still worked out well though and served its purpose. If you need a lightweight costume cape this is it!

I wrote a three star review last week and escape. I made a mistake. I was just appointed because there was no washing label and that there was an extreme amount of static electricity. When I looked online on the description of the Cape it gave the washing instructions. It was a little strange because they usually put the instructions somewhere inside the fabric. I took a chance and I washed it on delicate, and I even dried it in the dryer on delicate. It came out beautiful no more static and I am extremely happy with it. It is a novelty cape and not warm to wear outside and cool weather. I am sorry about my past review and I am very happy with the way things turned out and I am also very happy with the seller. They were very accommodating and offered a refund to make things right, which I don’t need and I upgraded my three stars to five stars.

I ordered this for a costume accessory and it is definitely not what is advertised. The fabric is very thin , almost sheer. The cloak itself is long and that's the only part that was correct. Too bad I planned to hem it down for my height. I needed a full, hooded cloak in the blue velvet. I am dressing as Christine from Phantom of the Opera. This cloak is very narrow and straight. It will cover the bustle on the back of the dress and some of the sides. It will not wrap to the front as needed or as pictured. I am glad the price was not too expensive because this is getting thrown away after the event. I thought of doing a return but can't get the cloak I really need in time. I am extremely disappointed. A lot has gone into this costume already. To have it ruined at this point is very upsetting.

Le tissus est assez mince, mais la couleur est spectaculaire. Finalement, je n'ai pas encore eu l'occasion de l'utiliser, mais je guette le moment où je pourrai le faire!

Good costume cape. The outer layer was quite a bi shorter than the inner layer and not as pictured.
