However, the company told me it would "pull in" when screwed in. They were correct - worked like a charm! A lot less expensive than replacing the cracked door frame! They were prepared to offer a refund but suggested trying it first. I had my handyman over to make the switch to a solid-core interior door using the Schlage high security two-sided deadbolt for the door with the new hardware including the long hardened steel screws for the hinges. My handyman primed all the metal parts with Dunn Edwards dura-grip and then painted the 6-panel door to match all the other interior doors in my home. I've recently added Progressive Security Screens-(San Diego) throughout so the combination of this door with the high security screens has now created a "safe room' in the event of an attempted home invasion. As you can imagine, our neighborhood has changed, so the choice is get tough or run. We aren't running!
