Decent cultured pearl
Shame Amazon can't ship this to Malaysia anymore. Nice quality at okay price point.

Beautiful, & perfect for my project.
The pearl is very pretty. I did give a chuckle when I opened it out of the shipping box, it was in a very nice ring type velvet box, that is most likely four times larger than the clam it was harvested from. *smile- I needed the 2mm size. the smallest size they have. The colour and quality are perfect. I'll be back for more.

Good
I bought it three times. It is the same as what I bought in Japan. I made earrings and rings. It is a perfect match with the necklace I bought in Japan.

Beautiful, but not accurate to size
I rarely leave reviews, but this rather upset me. First off, the pearl is quite beautiful and is genuine. However, the certificate and my placed order both state 10mm in size. As you can see in the uploaded photo, the pearl is not 10mm, but rather 9.6mm. Paying close to $90 dollars for one pearl, I expected to get what I paid for. It seems underhanded of the seller to dupe their customer and upcharge them while sending out a smaller sized pearl. I would advise anyone thinking of purchasing to always measure your pearls, especially the larger sized Akoya ones. I don’t appreciate being ripped off, and I’m sure you wouldn’t either.

Perfect pearl for my ring
The Pearl is beautiful. The color and size were as described. I was replacing a worn down pearl from a 50-year-old ring. I am very pleased with this purchase. I get lots of compliments on the ring now. I would definitely order again if I need loose pearls.

Awful
First of all, there is no such thing as a AAAA Akoya pearl, the highest rating being A-AAA. Secondly, a Certificate of Authenticity is enclosed, that states the luster is "Very Good," and the nacre is "Acceptable." If I am paying for the mostly highly rated Akoya pearl, the luster should be better than very good, and the nacre should be far better than acceptable. I don't know about the nacre, but the luster is far from very good. These look really cheap to me.
