It is a lubricant, so not something that would help clean or heal the wound. It's not thick like vaseline or an antibiotic cream, so I would not put this on a wound.

Great product at a great price

Works really well. Changing out cartilage piercings is not an easy task sometimes, so this actually makes it a lot easier and is very easy to clean up. Everything was packaged really well. I also received it in a timely manner. Also a good size for that price.
