Harmony Manual Breast Pump, On-the-Go, More Milk Output

This pump is tea!!!!!! And when I say tea, I mean it. My Medela pump comes in handy when I have to pump at work. It's easy to assemble, easy to use, and, not to mention, very quiet. It is very small and compact, which makes it easy to store, and it is also easy to clean

I honestly can’t recommend the Medela Hand Pump enough. Before buying it, I felt like I needed every “better” or more expensive option. I tried portable wearable pumps, my Spectra, and the Haakaa. Looking back, I wish I had skipped most of them because this simple little hand pump has outperformed all of them for me. The biggest difference is the control. I can adjust the suction and pace exactly how I want, which helps me get a much better letdown. What used to take me about 30 minutes with my electric pumps now often takes around 10 minutes with the Medela hand pump—and I frequently get more milk. My wearable Eufy pumps were especially frustrating. If they weren’t sitting perfectly, I’d sometimes pump for half an hour and get almost nothing. The Haakaa never really worked well for me either. It’s kind of funny that the most basic pump ended up being the best one. It’s inexpensive, simple, easy to clean, and has honestly been one of the best breastfeeding purchases I’ve made. If you’re debating whether it’s worth trying, especially if you’ve been struggling with wearable pumps, I absolutely think it is.

This Medela Harmony manual breast pump has been a lifesaver for quick pumping sessions and travel. The compact design makes it easy to toss into a diaper bag without taking up much space, and it’s much quieter and more convenient than hauling around a large electric pump for short outings. The handle is comfortable to use and the two-phase expression design helps the pumping feel more natural and efficient. I was honestly surprised by how much milk I could express with a manual pump. The PersonalFit Flex shields also make a noticeable difference in comfort compared to standard flanges. It’s easy to clean, simple to assemble, and perfect as a backup pump or for moms who don’t want to rely entirely on electric pumps. Great quality and exactly what I was hoping for.

The title says the most important part of my review- this pump saved my mental health. I was struggling with my emotions coming out of an emergency c-section and a nicu baby. Between the anxiety, lack of milk production due to the nicu stay, and my recovery, my mental health was broken. I wanted so much to produce enough milk for my baby, but due to the nicu stay immediately after my surgery, my milk production understandably was impacted. But still, I pumped every day with the electric pump I received from the hospital. If you’ve used them, you know they’re a hassle! Hooking them up, putting a hands free bra on or holding the bottles, and sitting there for 30+ minutes. I would only get about 1 oz each time. Cut to me receiving this amazing product- my stress is relieved! I got almost 2oz in just 15 minutes! I get a little hand workout, can hear the milk drop, and feel a better sense of accomplishment! The pump is good quality, easy to put together, and so far all the parts (not including the white membrane or handle) sterilize safely in my bottle sterilizer. I highly recommend a little set of inserts, I found one for $10 that has all different sizes (which you know can be a journey in itself, finding the right size). Having all the options is very helpful for a changing body! This thing is so much more convenient to use compared to my electric pump. And I got more milk out pumping myself. I feel happier getting more milk, and having an easier set-up.

I have owned about 6 of these over the last 4 years Between my two children. I mostly pumped because let’s face it, breastfeeding is really hard. Unfortunately I experienced a lot of painful clogged ducts. I used the spectra mostly and willow at work. But when I needed a quick powerful pump that would suck every drop out and blast a clogged duct, I went for the medela harmony pump. At first the set up and parts are confusing but once you do it 3 or 4 times it’s easy and second nature. Best uses - * in the hospital if a hospital pump isn’t available * if you need to pump and do not have the space, time or electricity to do a machine pump * if you have a clogged duct Troubleshooting that helped me- * always check the yellow piece that goes in the clear rubber stopper inserted into the handle. If the little stem coming off of it doesn’t have a tiny tiny white silicone ring around it, then the pump will not have effective suction. * Get a back up pack of the silicone rings and the white valve flaps Bc they go missing either down the drain or in the sterilizer. * use the little holder stand for the assembled pump bc it is too heavy and can fall over and spill your milk Then you will cry. And the only spilled milk you can cry over, is breastmilk * when you start pumping use the small front side of the handle to do fast strong suction motions for stimulation. Once the milk comes in switch to the longer part of the handle and gonslow long pumps. If you have a clogged duct do the long slow pumps while using your knuckles to massage the duct. * do not put the medela bottle in a bottle warmer. Mine melted and mutated. And ruined 4 oz of breastmilk. Transfer it into another bottle that you know is okay in the warmer. * the newer flanges that are more flexible with the white outer rim can get morphed easily with heat and stacking it against other parts. It is also highly annoying to get this flange smoothly into a pumping bra as it keep getting stuck up on the outer silicone ring part. Although there are annoying things about it, I do feel this is a necessity for every breastfeeding or pumping mom.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I am extremely happy with this purchase and would absolutely recommend it to others. From the moment I received it, I could tell that a lot of thought and attention went into the quality and design. It arrived exactly as described, was easy to use, and met all of my expectations. One thing that really stood out to me was how well-made and reliable it feels. I’ve been using it regularly and have had no issues so far. It performs exactly as intended and has made a noticeable difference in my day-to-day routine. I appreciate that it combines both functionality and convenience, which can be hard to find. Another positive is that it offers great value for the price. It’s clear that quality wasn’t sacrificed, and I feel like I got exactly what I paid for, if not more. The overall experience—from ordering to receiving and using the item—was smooth and hassle-free. I also appreciate the attention to detail. Small features that might seem minor actually make a big difference in the overall experience and show that the product was designed with the customer in mind. Overall, I am very satisfied with my purchase and would not hesitate to buy from this brand again. If you’re considering purchasing this item, I would definitely say it’s worth giving a try. It’s rare to find something that lives up to the hype, but this one certainly did.

I've mixed feelings on this pump. On one hand, I love it. The suction control is awesome, and I do feel like I am able to remove milk at a faster rate than my electric pumps. The pump parts themselves are easy to clean and feel sturdy. On the other hand, I was surprised by some of the lower quality aspects of the item considering the fact that it costs $30. The milk collection bottle that comes with the pump is a lot flimsier than I have come to expect from any kind of pumping bottles or milk collection units. When squeezed with relative force, you are able to push in the sides of the bottle. Also, after only a few times going through my dishwasher, the measurement markings on the outsides began to come off. This was fairly disappointing, as I rely on the measurement markings to know whether I have pumped adequately. I also was less confident just throwing the pump in a bag when I traveled for fear of the bottle getting crushed. One aspect that I do like about this pump is that the connection is a standard bottleneck size. After about a month, when the milk collection bottle lost its markings and had received several dents that would not come out, I simply switched to screwing in a doc Brown bottle to collect the milk. That seems to work perfectly fine. All in all, I am happy with the purchase, I just wish that the milk collection bottle had been a slightly higher quality. Especially given the fact that I have purchased many kinds of third party bottles and collection kits for cheap, and have never seen as low of quality as that bottle was.

hands down one of the most practical baby items we’ve owned. it’s compact, lightweight and so easy to use — perfect for quick pumping without needing to deal with wires, charging or bulky equipment. the personalfit flex shields make a real difference in comfort, and pumping feels smooth and controlled without needing much effort. it’s quiet, efficient and easy to clean, which matters a lot when you’re tired and just want things done quickly. and if time isn’t really an issue, this works wonders compared to the very expensive wear and tear you get on automatic pumps. it does the job just as well without all the stress on motors and parts - and we have 3 electric pumps but none of them can beat how much milk this one can get. my wife use this both at home and when out, and it’s been reliable every single time. simple, well-designed and genuinely useful.

Muito boa e confortável

I had the pump for a while and a few times it happened that it lost suction. Am currently trying to find the reason why it has happened again and nothing I do works. Online I've read many comments on this same issue as it seems to happen often.
