We like these Pentel gel pens. The .7 tips are easy to write with. The red ink stands out and seems to last years on the paper. They write a nice bold line. Love the retractable, so the tips don't get dirty and the pens don't write on things when layed down or moved around. Good pens!

Nice pen. Writes well and consistently. It is smooth and the 0.7mm is in line with other pen brands of that size. The ink is a little lighter blue than I've used to, perhaps a more 'electric' blue, but has a good smooth flow. It's a little thicker than other pens like the G2, but that's not a negative. It seems to have a reasonably large reservoir - I would put it on the same level as other pens in the same range. Dries moderately quickly, but not immediately. I'm a righty so don't have to worry about that, but lefties will need to pay attention and it will probably smear. Pen is of reasonable built quality, but still plastic. Clip and spring are good quality. No wonder people like and recommend this pen.

Great value and the ink is very smooth as gel pen. the 0.7 mm thick is good for teacher doing office paper work OR grading student work. The blue is moderate medium navy blue, good for filling out forms. The ink will not spread around the paper. My hands and fingers are relatively clean after using for long hours. Good that this product has refill ink to buy. It is earth friendly when you buy the refillable ink.

These pens are great, love the way they execute on paper. Smooth lines, no extra ink bleeds, great for original signatures. They run out of ink faster than most, so order refills, if you write a lot, you'll need them.

Pretty expensive for what you get but good pen

I’ve tried every kind of pen over the years—from basic BICs to more “premium” models—but the Pentel EnerGel instantly became my favorite. It writes incredibly smoothly, never skips, and the ink dries almost instantly (except on glossy or coated paper). One thing that really stands out: the ink never dries out, even if you leave the tip out. There’s no need to retract it. You can leave it ready to write, forget about it for months, pick it up again, and it writes immediately. No dryness, no scratching, nothing—unlike BIC and many other pens. It comes in tons of colors, and I use several: blue, black, red, pink, green, and purple, in both 0.5 mm and 0.7 mm tips. Refills come in boxes of 10, and they last a long time. With normal office use, I replace my blue refill (the one I use the most) about every two months. I like these pens so much that I basically retired my old Parker 51—the one I used through high school and college. Compared to the EnerGel, it now feels almost prehistoric. Great performance, great durability, great price. Hard to beat.

I searched for the smoothest blue ink pen I could find on Amazon, and this is it. In my experience, it writes more smoothly than the Uni-ball Zento, Pilot G2, and Uni-ball Signo 207. The ink flows effortlessly, making it comfortable to write for long periods and reducing hand fatigue. The only downside is that the ink can smear if you’re not careful, but that’s the trade-off for such a smooth-writing pen.

The blue ink is great

Llevo un par de años utilizando un modelo parecido de la misma marca y quise probar con otro modelo, sin comprometer la calidad y así fue. Son herramientas de muchísima calidad y sin duda volvería a comprarlas.
