This is a thick serum but the absorbency is excellent and quick. It is moisturizing and effective for reducing redness and smoothing texture. I think it will repair my skin barrier as I am already seeing results after 3 days. The product quality is good however it is a very small size bottle for your money. It did not reduce my redness as fast as it says but it did after about two days. I would recommend using after any professional treatment to recover and calm skin. Great quality brand and non comedogenic so it won’t clog pores or make you break out at all with use. Works best to follow the serum with the Elta MD recovery moisturizer.

The product works well, I think. It doesn’t inflame my skin. I’m still getting older :-) so it’s hard to gauge. The issue with the product is that the pump-action dispensing bottle usually (3 out of 4 times) does not work. I end up having to break the top off and plug it with a stopper.

I had a Halo laser procedure done and this is the brand that was recommended by the NP and the aesthetician. This entire line is medical grade and made my recovery much easier. I wanted to continue to use a serum rather than a cream because moisturizing creams make me break out. This serum did the trick during my recovery and I continue to use it afterwards. I'm all healed but I still enjoy this product. Would recommend, however, because it is a medical grade product, it is VERY expensive. That is the only reason for the 3 stars I included in this review. Very pricey.
