Got off birth control in 2020, had the worst cystic acne for the next two years. I always loved skincare, used the fanciest/expensive stuff, had like a 10+ skin care routine. Nothing worked anymore. In 2022, my dermatologist gave me a prescription anti-bacterial topical cream and recommended I simplify my routine and use EltaMD for a while. The focus was a simple routine and fixing my skin barrier. Since then I have used EltaMD line. This moisturizer is my nighttime cream and I use it after the skin recovery serum. I have dehydrated skin. This is not a super rich, thick cream it's more watery but I use three pumps. ~3X a month I will put a thin layer of vaseline on my skin to lock it in. Recently I introduced an EltaMD face mask that I might also add 2x a month.

Because I have rosacea, I am very picky about what I put on my face. This moisturizer is the best! It really is like a drink of water for your face! It is lightweight, glides on smoothly, dries quickly, and feels wonderful. My skin is so much softer. Highly recommended!

I can’t say enough good things about this moisturizer. I was using skin better trio, which is amazingggg BUT very pricey. I use elta md facial sunscreen, and decided to give this a try. It is soooo hydrating and gentle. It’s light, dries down fast, and has 0 smell. It wears beautifully under makeup, and seals in my retinol at night. If you have issues with your skin barrier, give this a go! Can’t beat the price. I just hope one day they make a larger size!

I’m so pleased with this moisturizer! I swapped for a heavier cream that I use in winter and my skin texture is soooo smooth and even this summer. I have really sensitive skin & I haven’t had any bad reactions to this. I’m only removing a star because it’s really pricey for the limited amount of product you get. I use the entire product up in a little over a month when I use both morning & night

I cannot express how much I love this moisturizer. I live in a tropical humid environment and this is absolutely perfect for it. It is so lightweight and comfortable on the face. I really enjoy how luxurious this feels and how quickly its absorbed. Elta MD is by far my favorite sunscreen brand and this made me fall in love with the brand even more. My first moisturizer purchase from them and I will continue to repurchase.
