Sorting through the wide assortment of non-contact, infrared temperature thermometers can be challenging. This one initially stood out for its slightly different design/display and temperature reader (located below the display. Out of the 4 I've purchased so far, this one seems to work the best, give a fairly accurate reading, and says, "Pass!" just in case you don't know if your temperature is acceptable or not...It's light enough to mount with double-sided tape or can be mounted with screws or on the tripod. One thing I have found with all of these units is that the batteries do not last for a long time. Because we had to purchase rechargeable batteries (special type: 18650 rechargeable, Li-ion) it's not so bad, but it may be better to have them plugged in all the time rather than recharging them as needed...

I had one similar to this product at work. Lasted may be a few months (bought it around March, and broke in August). And I needed one for the employees to take temperature as they come to work.Installation was very simple. Take it out of the box, attach the power cable, then plug it in. Hard part for me was navigating the menu to change clock, or which mode I want to be in (body or object).Other than that, it was pretty simple and easy to use. It does not come with 18650 battery but I took the battery out of the old one that broke, so saved me some money.I am sure the unit is working as intended but for some reason, when many of our employees measure their temperatures, they all seems to have same temperature: 99.7.Other than that, it has been working great so far and no complaints yet.

Very good delivery. I have another product that is almost the same as this but it is really bad. I am very disappointed and regret buying the product it. because I didn't read the reviews first.finally I did not use other brand products, I then opened my amazon to buy new products that were better and amazing. finally I found this product before I bought this product, I read reviews from other buyers, I was surprised their reviews were very good and extraordinary.then I bought this product and when it arrived at my home.I immediately use it, this product is very good no one can match the quality of this product. I am very happy to get this product.I highly recommend this product. If you don't buy this product, you will regret it. because you will not get the best quality besides this product

Well goes to show you can't always go by the reviews I don't know why first it doesn't come with the battery and it takes a special battery and it reads object not body so I'm returning it and have to find a better one.

This looks like a used thermometer. It has a scratch on the front and damaged on the back. Looks like it was used, returned and then shipped out as new. I have asked for replacement. We will see how the company handles this one. Hope they contact me with an explanation of how this could happen.Update 03/24/2021 I have received 2 of these thermometers and both of them look used and only shows Celsius. Not what is described at all. Don't waste your money or your time.

It works great. I have to charge the unit every 4 days but it is easy to program. It only takes 20 minutes to fully charge. It is compact and it can be used with a tripod which I purchased separately. I have purchased 3 of these units for 3 different buildings.

The sensor doesn't consistently pick up on a person when they try to have their temperature taken. It also seems to read a little low when compared to another digital thermometer. I would not buy this one again.

This is sold with and without the battery, but the battery is basically proprietary so if you don't purchase the model that comes with the battery it is worthless.Unit works great and is easy to install pretty much wherever you need it, especially easy on glass.
