There were reports of prowlers in our area attempting to break through people’s back doors during the night. In our neighborhood it’s pitch black when there’s no moon out, so I wanted to put up an automatic light. The LE outdoor solar light seemed like just what I needed so I ordered one for our back door and another for the side door. I’m no fan of ladder work but managed to drill the two required holes for each light in our stucco walls. It was easy enough and the lights came with the needed screws and mounting hardware. Operation could hardly be any simpler, with a switch for on, off, or automatic. After mounting them, I left them to sit in the sun for the afternoon and checked them out that night. They were all charged up and very responsive to any motion once it was dark out. I’d walk anywhere near them, and they would turn on and stay on as long as I was moving around. Once I went inside, they would turn off after ten seconds or so, and immediately turn back on if I went back out. I was surprised at how bright they were, doing a good job of lighting up a large section of our back yard as shown in the photo.- - - -One year later -- and both units are dead, which leaves me quite disappointed. The user's pamphlet says that if the unit stops working, it cannot be repaired and you should simply by a new one. Replace the whole unit once a year, probably because the batteries gave out?? I may replace them -- but it will be with this brand.

I live in Texas, so a lot of sunlight . I bought 4 of these lights and placed them on my house where the sun hits the hardest. I was amazed at how well they worked for the first day, but on the second day they all ran out of juice. They only light up once or twice after the sun sets and are dead for the rest of the night every night. I’ve rearranged the lights a hand full of times in different locations and can’t get them to keep a charge for more than 30 min. They kinda look like security cameras? So I’m just going to leave them up as a deterrent. It would be amazing if we could charge these up like a power bank with a usbC along side the solar panel when the solar panels fail to charge the flood lights alone. Especially in spots that get little to no sunlight.

I've had this for about 2 years now it goes outside for when my dog goes out and I've never had a problem with it it works great it's been dropped a couple times and it still functions properly

Very bright, but in Wisconsin, just cannot charge it enough to last 1 night, at most 20 lightings. After leaving it off and charging for a full week, it lit maybe 40 times. I need something that works all night for taking my dog out. VERY dissatisfied. I did not realize they only give you 30 days to return or I would have done that. I just tried to return less than 2 months after purchasing. I had to wait a few days to install as it was too cold out to install. Thought I’d give it a little time to get more sun to see if they would work any better. Nope, didn’t help. I don’t normally leave reviews, but I had to on this one.

Good while it lasted. Kept in a sunny place so as to be recharged fully. Rarely activated, but bright motion sensitive light perfect for my needs. It lasted just about a year before it quit working. I really like its adjustability and ease of installation though. Now it needs a replacement though.

Bought this solar flood light because we are renters and can't run any power to the top of our garage, so I was looking for something that we could hang without having to access any power. I bought it with not very high expectations, but I was blown away. It's a bright light and the motion detection is great. It hangs right below our roof above the garage and even in that location it still gets enough sunlight during the day to charge for the night.It's so good to have when my wife or I get home late at night and the driveway is dark. It lights up the whole driveway so you can walk to the front door safely.Great purchase, I am thinking about getting another one for our back yard.
