Tested and validated HDMI 2.1b. This cable is a true CERTIFIED HDMI 2.1b
True 2.1b certified. Running HDR 240hz at 3440x1440p. When I select A/V (audio/video) on my display, it goes down to 85Hz, which is correct as my display audio is now sharing the same cable as my video. If you have trouble getting 240hz+ have your display only use the video and have audio on a separate line (usb-c or optical). I would have loved to get HDMI 2.2 but getting actual "HDMI certified 2.2 or ultra 95" is almost impossible. Only buy HDMI cables that have the HDMI certified logo with the scan code square on it. The braided cables prevent chafing, and the aluminum casing prevented bending and breaking.

Cable Matters cables work and last. They are my preferred cable. I had one problem it the past 10-years. Cable Matters replaced the cable quickly.

Cable Matters works at 4k 120hz 100% of the time
I went through 5 different hdmi 2.1 cables from other reputable brands that wouldn't work before I found the cable matters cable that works 100%. I was getting dropouts on the other 5 at 4k 120hz. I should have bought able matters from the start and saved myself the frustration
