Highly recommend this product.
This is a fantastic product. It is very accurate and easy to use. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because as another reviewer had stated, getting the strap on can be difficult. You will need a safety pin to assist in grabbing the end of the strap to pull it through the hole. The company also emailed me right after my order for a link to a video that shows how to set it up. It also comes with written instructions.I just updated this to 5 stars. Have been using this pedometer for over 1 month and it works great. No problems with it. I have a friend who keeps encouraging me to get a fitness tracker, but this is so easy to use and very accurate. Been getting 10,000 to 12,000 steps per day.

I really like it. I had had another type which didn't ...
I needed to take the pedometer to a local optical department to access the battery compartment to remove the tab so I could set it up. It took several tries to get it set up, BUT once I did, I really like it. I had had another type which didn't work nearly as well as this one. It seems to keep accurate data regardless of how I carry it - in my pocket, clipped on my waistband, or clipped to my neckline. I haven't tried it with the neck strap yet. I'm not an exerciser by nature, but this really works for me, encouraging me to keep it up. Thanks

and I absolutely would recommend them to anyone
Unfortunately, I had high hopes for this, and I was really let down..The manual did NOT match the set up instructions, and I had to watch how to set it up on YouTube. Then the step counter not only did not pick up all my steps(about 1/2 were missed entirely and I was wearing it on lightweight shorts on my hip), but the number also would jump all over..from higher to lower to higher to lower again..The daily reset? Would always completely wipe out the data, as if I were doing a TOTAL reset, so there was no way to be able to track it for 7 days..HOWEVER, that said? The seller was extremely professional, and worked with me immediately and took care of me all the way to the end, and I absolutely would recommend them to anyone...

G2U
I had to keep adjusting the inches for my step length and think if it had half inches it would have been more accurate for the miles I walked. I drove the routes I walked to see what the mileage was. The G2U is either 4 to 5 tenths of a mile over or 4 to 5 tenths of a mile under. I don't know if ones weight as any affect in determining the distance traveled. Keeps good time though. It works, but the accuracy is not as close as I would like it, thus the 2 rating.

it does well- i also like that it records 7 days in a row- I'm ...
it's an ok pedometer- however, it must be noted that it doesn't calculate calories burned based on time+speed+weight but rather just on time+weight- I ordered two of these- I'm a tall person and my stride is about 42 inches (measured toe to toe in one step), and my friend is shorter and has a 30 inch stride- My pedometer is set up correctly to measure 1 mile- 2 miles etc (I've tested it many times now- it's spot on) and at 2 miles, I walk at 4 mph- almost a jog- my friend walks the same route at 2 miles per hour- and we both walk the exact same route- his pedometer measures it at 2.4 miles, mine at 2- and his pedometer calculates that he burns 380 calories, while mine only says about 160 or so? I'm walking much faster, and really pushing myself, my friend strolls along slowly and burns more calories in the same distance? To properly determine calories burned, you must factor in speed- you burn more calories the faster you walk- but these pedometers don't seem to calculate it that way- unless I'm missing something in the setup? My friend's step stride may be configured a bit wrong, but it's not so far off that it should be such a discrepancy in calories burned- For distance and time, it does well- i also like that it records 7 days in a row- I'm only giving it 3 stars because of the calorie issue- but again, i could be doing something wrong in the setup- so I'm open to updating this review if I find out i did

Great little pedometer
Great little pedometer! I bought a fitbit one because I loved the design and the fact that with tri-axial technology, it could be dropped into a pocket and be more reliable to count steps than my old clip on pedometer. But I returned it because I didn't want to be tethered to my pc by yet another device. This Geared 2U pedometer, also using "3-D" technology, counts steps reliably, is a snap to set up, and while not quite as petite as the fitbit, is slim and easy to pop into my pocket. Of course, it also comes with a clip and lanyard to wear around the neck if so desired.Customer service is extremely helpful and attentive. Great product, great price, super customer service!

It works
I feel like it counts the steps which is good enough for the price. I counted steps a couple times and agreed with the readout so I am satisfied. It is a bit uncomfortable for someone with a bit of "hangover" of the belt line, especially when sitting. I hope to walk this off. I try to keep it on my person all day and don't always have pockets. I would recommend it if you don't want to spend a lot of money and don't care if you can hook it up to your tablet or computer.

A good, easy to use pedometer.
This is a very good pedometer. It has nice features, including estimated distance covered, total steps since reset and previous days steps. Set-up is easy and relatively intuitive, though the instructions help. I will advice though that if you want a more accurate distance record to measure your stride over the twenty steps as suggested, then reduce the average stride calculated by at least 10%. Perhaps 20% if hiking over rough terrain. In the real world, where the ground is not level and there are obstacles and distractions, your stride will be shorter.I also like that it records steps if warn or carried in many different places.
