It heats up quickly. No problems with the heating element or fan. Just what I needed.

Ordered this two months ago with the intent on making a DIY chamber heater for my 3d printer enclosure. I finally finished the project with an arduino temperture control and wowzers! It heats up quickly and really cranks out A LOT of heat much to my surprise. (The fan blows air into the PTC and hot air comes out of the PTC side) In fact, it gets so hot that I can't put my hand in front of it, it feels like a heat gun or a high-plheat hair dryer. It's also enough heat to keep my ABS models from warping in the garage during winter, so I'm super happy with the purchase. And don't worry about the plastic housing, it's highly heat resistant, possibly Polycarbonate. The downside is, you'll need at least a 400-watt power supply to run it (it says 300w on the PTC, but you need an extra 25% for energy loss, dur to the 2nd law of thermodynamics.)

I bought this little unit to put a little heat in my 103 year old grandmas sports pod so she could stay warm watching her great grandsons play football. It worked great I hooked it up to my Milwaukee 18v batteries. As I figured you need to have plenty of batteries. The 12Ah lasts about half the game.

Ordered in August of 2024, the heating element burned out in August of 2025 with infrequent use (Used to heat 3d printer enclosure about once or twice a week for a few hours at a time). Would not recommend if you want a heater that lasts even a year with limited use.

Works and throws heat. I would give it a 5 Star rating, but it came with no (literally none) paperwork/Instructions/wiring diagram. So it was a little bit slow at first to test and make sure. Unit feels solid, works well in the application.

I was totally surprised on how well this worked… At first we were all concerned that something that small would not generate enough heat… That concern quickly turn to ensuring that this thing, why is it going to melt down everything around it… We’ve had it working pretty much nonstop with zero issues…

It puts out ok heat, but be warned, it gets so hot you can't touch it! I'm surprised it's not melting the plastic housing.

This little heater works very well I tested my 24V unit for one hour it made [email protected] (9.4A) with no issues.
