They work fantastically. I (accidentally, ahem) bought a second set of brushes at the same time as these, so I compared them. The other set, with pink marbled handles, was just a few bucks cheaper. They seem nearly identical, but the Winstonia bristles are slightly softer (which isn't important with builder gel since it's self-levelling anyway) AND most importantly, more rounded. They have a nice rounded tapered shape, while the generic brand brushes were more square. I prefer the rounded. So I'm using these primarily, rather than the other brand. The rounded edges make this a better purchase for me, even if they were just slightly more expensive. They hold up very well to acetone, alcohol, etc and look brand new although I've used a few of them quite a bit. The sizes are also fantastic. The largest covers my whole fingernails and the smallest is great for details! Review: Good - Great little brush set for me as a somewhat beginner nail tech. I really only use 2 sizes for builder gel application, but the price point is so good I don’t care.
