Neddy Games Spin Doctor - The Card Game of Dirty Politics

With puzzles and Legos is short supply around the globe, my family has run out of board and card games to keep us entertained. We have enjoyed another Neddy Games product "Conspiracy Theory" so when Amazon recommended it to me, we were excited to try this. I should mention that this game is very portable. We took it on a trip we made and it is good for several rounds/evenings of fun. The premise of the game is that each player takes a turn as a candidate for the President of the US. The winner collects a majority of state voting cards. You win by blocking your opponents with scandal cards like "Dark Secret Skeleton in the Closet" and "Broken Promises". I won't rehash the whole game instructions, but you can thwart these attacks by having media relations or a good debate (not a real debate, but there is a card for this). Overall it's not too hard to learn and was enjoyed by even our 12 year old daughter. Don't worry - there is no specific political party names, so you shouldn't get in a fight with your Uncle over who was a better President!

Game is a lot of fun and a decent price. Seems like a good way to teach kids about the election.

"Spin Doctor" is a hilarious game that pokes fun at politics in the U.S. The game is easy to learn and fun to play! The cards are hilarious! My favorite is to catch my opponent with their Pants Down. Gameplay sounds like a political analyst during an election year. Who's involved in a scandal? Who has a Skeleton in their Closet? What's the latest poll say? That's precisely what makes this game so hilarious! It makes you sound like a campaign manager with a big bag of Dirty Tricks to play. "Spin Doctor" is great election year therapy for your family. Have some family members that have been alienated over politics? Play this game with them. It turns all of the seriousness into something fun that everyone can enjoy. This game is a uniter, not a divider. Play it, then enjoy the holidays again.

Came as promised

Normally in my household we can't talk about politics without all going to bed angry. This game is a welcome change from that. Recommended age is 12+ but 9 yo had no trouble picking it up. Tbh the state of politics in our country is at the point where you either have to laugh or cry about it and this game helps me laugh. All the pieces are high quality, great design. It's 121 cards so it takes up more space than some of my other card games but still pretty portable.

This was a very fun game. The instructions aren't very clear in some parts and there was some debate when certain things came into play (perhaps part of the game?). Other than that, great fun for the price. Game can get pretty long when the players know what they're doing.

We picked up this game because we are having to do some homeschooling this year. Its seriously hard to find good games that are fun and educational, but this one did it perfectly!!!! It was fast pace, and definitely can be described as easy AND challenging. Took like 2 seconds to learn, but several rounds to sort out a good strategy. I would recommend this game for EVERYONE!!! It's a game about dirty politics, without getting into politics. Genius! Would buy again. Will buy more for gifts.

I got this for my nephew for Christmas. Played last night. There are a lot of rules/instructions, but we had a really good time playing.
