Surprisingly nice coat for a no name brand I randomly found on Amazon. Warm! Fits nicely! Warm lining, nice and thick. Soft where it needs to be. Seems to be water resistant.

This is my husbands favorite winter coat. I bought it for him and few years ago and it still looks the same as when I bought it. He said it’s the nicest and warmest coat he has. It’s waterproof which makes it harder for him to stain. It’s roomy enough to wear a thick sweater or hoodie underneath it. Five stars for looks, durability and warmth.

I really love this jacket, and for the price, you really can't beat it! I first tested the warmth over ATV'ing in the mountains over Thanksgiving and was very warm!Breathable often has the tradeoff with wind-resistant jackets (in my opinion), I wore this ripping through the mountains on an ATV in 14° weather and felt nothing under the jacket. If you are looking for breathable, this is probably not ideal for you, if you are looking for warm, this is it!I have now worn this skiing in Whistler and my face and hands got cole, but the jacket kept me very warm the entire time. In fact, I started with 2 layers, went down to just a Smartwool thermal, and now am only using a very thin thermal because I was getting too hot while skiing.My fiancé has a very expensive brand name jacket and says it should be more breathable and doesn't like that when it rains, it does appear to absorb water. I have seen the jacket absorb water and sometimes it does feel a little wet inside at the end of the day, but I have remained dry, so I'm not sure if it's from the rain or sweat. She has also gotten cold in her fancy expensive breathable jacket while wearing additional layers and I haven't even gotten remotely cold even at the top of the mountain on a very snowy day only wearing a very thin long sleeve thermal I got from Costco.I'll post a video down the road but here's some photos and a quick and easy review for now. I love the jacket, it's very warm, inexpensive, and perfect for me as an inexperienced skier that has ended up on the ground in the snow a few times and was also born in Miami, so I am not a fan of being cold. It also has an attached sleeve with thumbholes that I wear a glove liner under and keeps the jacket up and cold weather out.I'm 5'9" / 165 lbs / true medium. The medium fit is perfect.Pros: Very warm, true to size, keeps you dry and warm in the rain, snow, and wind. Very comfortable, zip pockets, velcro sleeve, removable hood that fits over a helmet, and the thumbhole sleeve.Cons: One of the pocket zippers is hard to zip up and down, but hasn't broken. Doesn't breathe, so you may get hot and if you are sweating, your phone or items may get wet if it's in your pocket.Will post a video soon, this is what I've got for now!

I'll start with the fact I had to order three of the Gemyse Mens Mountain Ski Jackets before I got one worth keeping. I ordered the first one on the "try before you buy" plan. I was delivered in timely fashion and fit nicely, but it had no hood and had a seam that was not sewn. I ordered #2 and it showed up in two days, it fit well but one of the pocket zippers did not work! So, I sent both back and decided to look around. I searched other online sporting- goods retailers and just couldn't find a coat that I liked, so I ordered the third one. Number three showed up in two days and the fit and finish of it are fine. Now have to figure out how to get the wrinkles out. The attached photos are after it's been hanging for 4 days. I'll probably end up washing it and ironing it, per the Care Instructions.OK what I like:1. It's a good looking jacket.2. It fits me well. I am 5'-7" approximately 175lbs, medium build. It fits nicely with jeans a a T-Shirt and It fits with a T-Shirt and a lightweight hoodie on underneath it.3. It's warm. I haven't had a chance to wear it much but have been out for maybe 5-10 minutes in 12°F weather and it was very comfy and warm. I bought it to be my winter jacket.What I don't like:1. The wrinkles, but I'm sure that will resolve itself after washing, drying and ironing2. The zippers could be heavier duty, longevity is yet to be seen3. It's a bit noisy. I won't be wearing it to go hunting!All in all, considering just the jacket I am able to keep, it seems to be a nice winter coat. I'd give it 4-1/2 stars and maybe 5 starts if it lasts for a few years or so.

My husband works 12hr shifts into the nights on an open dock where it gets really cold and with that Texas cold front coming in i decided to buy him a good jacket to help keep him warm as sometimes he works into the early morning hours. He hasn't tested it in the cold just yet but he does layer up with thermals, skincare mask or scarf and gloves that I've bought him. As the cold iut here can get sharp sometimes. It is very great quality, the out part most definitely feels wind and water resistant, the inner part has a lot of pockets and a mesh lined pocket and the upper chest and hood are lined with faux fur/fleece like material. The sizing was True to size. So far we reccomend it. Will update review if anything changes or if anything otherwise from this review.Update: Husband has been using this all week and he says the although he does wear like 3 layers of clothes (tank, thermals and a tshirt) he no longer needs to layer on 2 sweaters in 30 degree HoustoN weather. He says all he throw on top is this jacket and it keeps him very warm. So warm sometimes he gets kind of hot (and he does normally run hot but when temps drop he does get cold) but with this Jacket he said he can now work comfortably and doesn't even zip it up as he tend to get a little hot in it. It poured last night and kept him warm and Dry. HIGHLY RECCOMEND!

This our third coat from this brand, all were the same style. The quality and workmanship is great, materials are great. The coats are warm and cozy, fits well, and on those very cold rainy days the waterproof is great to have. And the price is great too and a bargain.I would caution about the sizing chart though. Ordered this one originally in a size 'small' for our grandson and according to the sizing chart it should have fit him in the chest area perfectly but it was too small in the chest. So had to return it and get a medium and that fits perfectly.

If you are looking for a very warm winter jacket, this is it. Reasonably priced, especially with their sale going on. I’m not a fan of the thumb slots in the jacket sleeves, but understand the purpose. It is a heavier jacket, so if you are looking for something lightweight, this is not it. Again, extremely warm jacket for those states that get freezing temperatures. I wear between a medium and large jacket. I’m glad I bought the large, as it’s a little snug if wearing a sweater, or heavy flannel shirt. The reason is the substantial lining. Great winter jacket over all and plenty of pockets.Was not happy that it was vacuumed packed, as it’s really wrinkled, and hopefully the wrinkles will go away. I noted a few comments in the reviews about the zipper, so hopefully there won’t be any issues. It doesn’t look strong, and will update the review if there is an issue with it after wear. Again, looking for a very warm jacket. This is the one.Update: The zipper is not substantial for the weight of the jacket. Doesn’t easily thread, so I’ll see if it’s just because it’s new. Not impressed with the design of the zipper.

Great winter jacket for the deep freeze we are experiencing in Ontario. Purchase this jacket in XL for my husband who is 6'3 and 230lbs. The XL fits him perfectly with plenty of room for a thick sweater or hoodie underneath. Jacket is well made and looks very stylish. Very good deal considering the jacket is comparable to other much more expensive brand name similar winter jackets.

I have always been skeptical about ordering clothes online. This jacket fit incredibly well and have been very satisfied after a month of use. Built for Canadian winters

Perfect fit, style, material for high quality, low cost men's winter jacket this is the ONE that checks all the needs boxes.

I have had this for over a year and the jacket seems comfortable and waterproof as advertised. It also is sufficiently warm to -25 Celsius maybe a bit warmer.One little flaw and my only complaint is that the little loops inside used to tighten the waist drawstring ripped out almost immediately. I resewed and strengthened them and it has been fine ever since.
