Where is the on/off switch?

Don’t count on Alexa! This lamp is in no way an Alexa device as a quick skim of description might lead one to believe. Read the fine print and learn that it would require the purchase of an Alexa compatible plug in addition in order for it to be Alexa-compatible. So in no way should Alexa be included anywhere in its description!

What is the dimension of the lamp shade. Is it big enough to light a whole puzzle?

dimension of the shade is 9 inches and is plenty big enough to light up a whole puzzle

What is this lamp of?

I am not sure what your question is? If you want to know what the material is, it is metal and plastic. If you are asking where the on/off switch is, it is at the top of the lamp near the shade.

how far does the head rotate? Can it point directly upward?

Hi there! The lamp's head can be rotated to point directly upward, but please be sure to loosen the adjustment knob before adjusting the lamp and then re-tighten it once it's in the position you'd like for it to be in
