Buy this pillow!!
Buy this pillow!! Just took a quality nap on this pillow! I have been very sleep deprived from lack of pillow support and getting very hot at night. Synthetic fibers always trap heat at my head. I stayed cool, supported, excellent rest! You can hear the hulls move when you first get positioned but a very fair trade for the benefits! Doesn’t bother me at all. As far as the odor, just a slight smell, earthy but not a bad odor. I have spent more money than I want to say on pillows. I was comfortable on my back, side, and belly! This one is a keeper!

Good quality pillow!
This is my first buckwheat pillow and after one night I noticed my neck pain was a little better. I've been struggling with tossing and turning all night because of my pain. Shoulder, neck, elbow and literally my entire upper bone structure. I started reading about this type of pillow and decided to hold off on getting a new mattress and trying this pillow first. The pillow cover is really nice, you can tell it is made well. The zipper tucks into a little pocket nicely to keep it from opening tol easily. I decided to dump out about a quarter of the buckwheat to make the pillow a little flatter. The first night was an adjustment but I fell asleep quickly and noticed when I woke up in the middle of the night my neck didn't hurt like it usually does. I think I woke up just because of the noise the pillow makes if you move. I didn't care about that and knew I would quickly get used to it. I slept the second night on the pillow again but did notice a little headache when I woke up the next morning. I decided to take out another quarter of the buckwheat to make it flatter to see if that made a difference. The next morning I felt pretty good, less pain. But I feel like once the buckwheat forms to you it feels pretty hard. But it's soooo supportive I needed to stick with it. I do also think it made me feel a little hot so I thought about what I could do to help those things and decided to buy a very flat (I think 1" thick) memory foam cooling pillow insert. It worked perfectly! Cool, comfy but still had the support. I did need to take out a good ount of the buckwheat to make up for that extra inch of foam. I do also use my silk pillowcase with it so that is cooling as well. It felt great last night and I am hoping this is the perfect combination! I don't notice much of a smell, nothing that would ever bother me. I did read that some people are bothered by it and I will say I am extremely sensitive to smells. It is heavy and I got the smaller size. I didn't like that it wasn't the size of a regular pillow but I did get used to that. I think I will be ok with the smaller size. If you have any type of cervical issues this could be the answer! I'll update soon how I am doing with it!

Finally Found The Perfect Pillow! Even Better with Simple Modification
I have tried every pillow on the planet! None were great for long. I had a whiplash injury and subsequent neurosurgery on my neck years ago. I have struggled to find a pillow that gave me adequate neck support, and I would frequently wake up with hand numbness. After reading mixed reviews on buckwheat pillows, I decided to try one. I had nothing to lose except for a good night's sleep, which was already happening anyway. I was overjoyed to discover that this is the pillow that I have spent years looking for! This pillow weighs a lot and is very firm, which wasn't an issue for me. It doesn't put too much pressure on my ear when I lay on my side. It gives exceptional neck support which is so hard to find. The buckwheat rustling noise isn't that bad. I like that this pillow doesn't hold heat like foam pillows do. I love the fact that the hull volume is adjustable. I ordered the standard size, since I move around a lot. I am a side sleeper and I found that I would have to gather the pillow up in order to get the height that I need. I contacted the company and requested more hulls, so that I could increase the volume of my pillow. I got rapid response from customer service and they shipped me more hulls without charge. I am so happy with my pillow. I am glad that I took the chance to try something different. It isn't a cushy pillow, but is is super supportive, and it works well for me. Edit: I have found a way to make the perfect pillow even better! Add a buckwheat neck pillow to the pillowcase along with the standard lofe buckwheat pillow. This allows customized levels of support for both my head and neck. I can now have firmer neck support and softer head cushioning. It is the best of both worlds. I did have to remove hulls from both pillows in order to get the right level of support and comfort. I toss and turn a lot at night, and the neck pillow provides consistent support without the need to readjust my larger pillow. It has always been a tradeoff, having to settle for a firmer pillow in order to have the neck support that I require. Now I can have it all!

Neck Pain is Gone!
I am a huge fan of this style of buckwheat pillow. I frequently get neck pain in the mornings that can last for days. It seemed like an endless cycle. I tried different types of traditional and memory foam pillows but none made a difference. None of them supported my neck all through the night and would be too high or too low. After doing more research I found out about this style of pillow filled with buckwheat hulls. In theory, they are supposed to shape to the curvature of your neck. I first bought a very small version from a different brand and loved it. Almost immediately I found relief from daily neck pain. I ended up using that pillow for at least 2 years until it became flat, I imagine due to the hulls degrading. That pillow had no zipper so I could not add more hulls. I decided to buy a new, larger pillow to replace it which lead me to this product. I bought the LOFE pillow in queen size. It includes a nice liner with a zipper so you can adjust the level of fill to your preferred height. The zipper seems to work well and I have not had any hulls escape out. The liner quality seems nice as well, and no dust or bits of hull have made it through either. Initially, the pillow is very tall and stuffed full. You can shape and adjust a divot to cradle your head and neck. After a couple of weeks I noticed the pillow doesn't seem as stuffed full as the hulls settled. It's now at a very comfortable level and height and doesn't take much adjustment when I get into bed. There is a pamphlet included that states that LOFE can supply more hulls if ever needed. The pamphlet also mentions that there may be a slight smell while the pillow airs out and suggests you can air it out in the sun to help the process. However, I didn't notice any smell at all. Overall, this is an excellent pillow for those with chronic neck pain and LOFE seems committed and responsive to post-purchase support.

Good overall pillow
Sure! Here’s a more casual, shorter version: ⸻ Really happy with this organic buckwheat pillow. It’s supportive but easy to adjust, so my neck feels properly supported all night. It stays cool and doesn’t have any weird chemical smell. A bit firm at first, but once you get used to it, it’s super comfortable. Great natural pillow overall. Would recommend.

Great product
Bought it for myself cuz I like the bean bag like feeling. Very sturdy and gives a great huggy feeling. I didn’t use it as a pillow for my neck since I like something more soft, my husband ended up use it and love it. He said it helps him sleep better, great quality of sleep, that he can breathe better during sleep and so on ( this man never give that much positive feedback about anything I bought for him) so yeah. Great product! I decided to buy him a bigger one for his comfort loll.

A real game changer - best pillow ever!
I've been having a lot of issues where I have migraines and often wake up with them. I know it's been from my neck and shoulders being out of whack by the time I wake up. I've tried all kinds of pillows and my husband suggested I try a buckwheat pillow. I read through a lot of reviews and am really glad I picked the Lofe pillow. I feel they were really generous with the buckwheat hull fill. I'm still trying to find the right amount and height for my body, but there was quite a bit of hulls in my pillow. The cloth feels old school and natural, and they have a little hideaway for the zipper pull so that it doesn't bother your head. I put a few pillowcases around it, as I read that you don't want to let the hulls get moist at all. It does have a particular smell, but I don't feel like the smell is chemical or unbearable. It's a pleasant, earthy odor, and I don't mind it whatsoever. I got the small travel size, as I realized most of the pillows I've been sleeping on have been 14x20 or smaller. We are in a smaller sized bed and this size was PLENTY for me. I am not sure why so many need a bigger size, but I guess sleep is very personal and everyone just has to do what is right for them. I sleep almost exclusively on my side, and buckwheat is good for side sleepers and I don't feel like I need any more than that length or width, as my main concern is rolling it up and supporting my neck well from the side. I added a photo of my Lofe buckwheat pillow which is 14x20 next to my husband's queen/standard sized pillows (he sleeps with 2 of them in 1 pillow case - which are 20x26 each), just to give a comparison. I haven't tried a queen sized buckwheat pillow but that may be too much for me. Sleeping on this pillow has given me the best nights of sleep I've ever had. I barely dream or remember my dreams. I usually wake up throughout the night and my husband has complained about me snoring. He said I don't snore at all since I've used the Lofe buckwheat pillow. I usually need white noise to get through the night and if something happens and the white noise shuts off, I definitely wake up from the sudden silence. But I don't while sleeping on the Lofe buckwheat pillow. I woke up and my white noise was off, but I slept right through that. I think my waking up (from pain) went down from around 20 times a night to maybe 2 and it was just because I had to go to the bathroom or had to turn to the other side. I've added lavender bud to my pillow today to enhance my good night's sleep. I'll update this review as time passes. I'm very excited about this pillow! It's such a game changer and I feel I'll be a lot more productive with my life, after catching up on much needed sleep. I've used it as a back support bolster while sitting up in bed as well and it feels SO comfortable and supportive. I love it as both, but might invest in a separate buckwheat pillow for my back. Customer support is *excellent* and so responsive if you need anything.

A reliable pillow
This pillow took a few days to get used to but ultimately I think its helped with some neck issues. A bit thick but that can be adjusted. While it can be heavy, I dont mind as it does what I need

Comfortable pillow and excellent customer service.
The pillow is comfortable to sleep on and is adjustable as you can reduce the amount of fill yourself. The pillow comes with care instructions and an offer to send for a free pillow case which I did. The seller was very responsive and prompt in sending the free case upon request. Customer service and communication is excellent. Highly recommended.
