Paradise Oils Jamaican Black Castor Oil Original - 4oz

First of all this product is made in Florida and it's not true Jamaican Black Castor oil. If you read the ingredients on the bottle it consists of castor oil and black tea. I have since learned that the thing that makes black castor oil what it is, is the dark roasting of the castor beans. When it is converted into oil it is black like tar not the light amber hue that comes out of this bottle.I'm a little disappointed and annoyed as I could have walked across the street to the nearby CVS and purchased a bottle of castor oil and grabbed a bag of black tea if I were so inclined and ended with same result instead of buying this product through Amazon.

I love this product for my eyelashes ! They grew within the first week.

I use this mixed with coconut oil for my eyebrows and eyelashes. It has made sooo much of a difference. Despite the smell of it overall the product is amazing.

Pros outweigh cons by far. It is thick and sticky and does not smell like much of anything. BUT that is to be expected with a natural product. Add a scent you like, dilute it with another oil or use less, totally worth it. Great oil for hair scalp and skin, it really works on my dry skin and dry dreadlocks. I have many hair/skin butters and oils from many different makers, some for dreads only. Many of them just sit in the surface giving my hair an oily straw feeling. Not This product! A tiny bit rubbed into the palms and then the dreads, and nice soft, not oily hair. Great packaging too, many layers of bubble wrap kept bottle safe.
