Review: Good enough better than most - Good looking stand anyway Easily assembled We have two One has a 15 hp Yamaha two stroke on it, the other has a 30 hp tohatsu two stroke. We also had a ridiculous mercury propane 5 hp on one of them for a bit. The reason Iโm stating each motor is that it didnโt really matter what engine is on this stand, it canโt be rocked or accidentally bumped or it has a good chance of going over. Best for storing an engine where no one will go near it. Not for anything over the 30 ho two stroke weight for certain If you tried to put a 40 hp on it, it likely would collapse. It is better looking though than a bulky homemade wood job Review: High Quality Stainless and Hardware. Very easy to set-up. Well designed. - The stainless is beautiful and all hardware also stainless packed in pretty little bag with spare parts. Well designed and took 5 minutes to put together. This cart is very sturdy. It is not designed to hold a motor that is in any kind of tilted position! The weight must remain forward of the mounting plate as shown so the legs support the motor. 5 stars.

NOT ENOUGH BALLS
You are probably wondering with all the great marks, why did I return it.. if not. I did. The item is superbly made and lots of features but "overstates" the weight that it will withstand and not break the stand or worse yet break something on the motor. I have a 210lb. motor and it is suppose to handle a 215lb. motor, I was skeptical but its made so well I thought it might fool me. Bottom-line, it bareliy handled it to the point of swaying left and right clearly due to the extreme weight for the apparatus. If I rolled into some dirt pebble on the garage floor it would almost topple over IF I wasnt payng attention and catch it. All of that is why I returned the thing. Itโs awesome for something under 200lbs. thanks and hope this helps.

Nice but a little wobbly with 95lb motor
As others have said itโs a nice design with quality materials. However I would not feel comfortable putting anything heavier than 100lbs on it. My Tohatsu 15hp weighs 95lbs and it seems pretty close to max load - ok for wheeling it around my garage but Iโm not sure I have the balls to pull the start cord. If it falls over Iโll be sure to update my review!

Great quality but received corroded wheel bearing
I planned to return this because I thought a caster was missing but it was hiding in the box, so that problem was solved. :) I was also upset with the corroded wheel bearing surface (see photos), and it seemed like there was very fine sand on the wheel. Were some of the packed parts recycled from another return order, used??? The rest of the parts appeared new, but the box taping made it look like it might have been previously opened and retaped. That said, the bearings seemed to work okay and I've lubricated them so they shouldn't deteriorate further. I had a decision to make and here's the thing, the general quality of construction and the form factor for what I need (two trolling motors) is fantastic! I decided to live with the condition of the wheel so I didn't have to deal with the hassle of a return. It turned out to be a drawback I could live with, only mildly souring my purchase decision. Guessing the seller may have had something to do with this, but can't say for sure. Update: I contacted the seller and was met with both an apology and an offer to promptly replace the defective wheel. They sent it fedex and I've replaced it and everything is great. This cart rocks for my particular use which is for 50-60 lbs of weight for storing two trolling motors. I was tired of having them take up valuable real estate on my garage work tables. Updating to five stars both for the great product made better by excellent customer service.

Nice Product but Unstable
Dangerous Tip Hazard. In general this is exactly what I wanted. A stainless compact small outboard stand. It is well made and could be a 5 star product. Except it is poorly designed, unstable and will tip over unless you are very careful and very strong. The stand should be modified so the large wheels are further back and further spaced from the caster wheels. As designed, it is very unstable. I've already dumped my engine twice. I will modify so it is better balanced but that is a big hassle.

Excellent value
Excellent stand for the price. I love the chrome. Much beefier than some of the more expensive stands on Amazon. Easy to assemble. I have a 5hp Merc on it and it is super stable and easy to move. Iโm not sure that I would go over a 10hp on it. Not that it couldnโt handle it, but I just think it wouldnโt be as good with that weight.

Well, it took about 30 minutes to put together, and nothing rolls so nice one finger and well worth the money

Pretty good for light motors.
The stand is pretty solid for not too heavy motors. My 6hp 4 stroke fits perfectly. Just one thing that I didn't like. The center vertical metal rod between bottom wheels and upper motor mount installation is a bit incorrect. Bottom and upper attachment points are not in the one line.

Works great
So far so good. Being a woman, moving a motor is quite difficult. This made it surprisingly easy to move around and holds the motor great. Granted it is only a Merc 8 but still works and balances well.
