Picked up this set mainly for leftovers, and that’s where these really shine. The biggest benefit is obvious—you can reheat food directly in the glass without dealing with plastic getting hot, warping, or picking up stains and smells. That alone makes them worth it. The glass containers are solid and durable, and they clean up easily. No lingering odors or discoloration like you get with plastic. Lids seal up tight and are genuinely leakproof, so storing soups or anything with liquid isn’t a concern. The vent feature is also nice if you’re microwaving. They stack well and the different sizes are actually useful—not a bunch of oddball containers you’ll never use. Things to know: Heavier than plastic (expected) Lids are still plastic, so don’t abuse them with high heat Cost is higher than basic containers, but you’re getting something that lasts Bottom line: If your goal is reheating leftovers without heating plastic, these are a great upgrade. Practical, durable, and they just work.

I have a similar set in plastic (Rubbermade Brillance) so when I saw that it was available in glass, I bought it. Plastic containers will crack and discolor, the glass set has not. The lids are interchangeable between the two sets. They make a tight seal and keep the food fresh. They are dishwasher safe but I wash the lids by hand. They are heavier than the plastic. Feel thick and sturdy but, obviously, they are glass and would break if dropped.

I wanted to get away from the plastic containers and go with glass. The trade-off is glass containers will be heavier. But we’re good with that. Pros: * Seals tight. I filled them all up with water and turn them upside down and none of them leaked. * Durable. While we wash the glass in the dishwasher, we still choose to wash the tops by hand even though they say they are dishwasher safe. Unlike some brands, these tops appear very durable. Looks like this set will last for many years. * Interchangeable tops. Several of the sizes use the same tops. * Stackable. This style stacks better than any that we’ve had before. I really like the rectangle sizes. They Stack in the cabinets or refrigerator more efficiently than our old round ones. They also fit perfectly in our lunch box for work. * Sizes. Everyone’s needs are different but these particular sizes meet our needs perfectly. No itty-bitty containers. Perfect sizes for leftovers and lunches. Cons: * Price. I did not go looking for other options to see if this set was significantly cheaper elsewhere. But they do appear a bit pricey. * My issue was trying to find the sizes of the containers that are included in this nine piece set (9 containers with 9 tops). So below is what we received: 1 (8 cup) @ 11-1/2” x 7-1/2” x 2-3/4” tall 1 (4.7 cup) @ 8” x 5-1/4” x 3-1/2” tall 2 (3.2 cups) @ 8” x 5-14” x 2-1/2” tall 2 (2 cups) @ 8” x 5-14” x 2” tall 3 (1.3 cups) @ 5-3/4” x 3-3/4” x 2-3/4” tall After using this set for a few more months, we will see what sizes we use most and supplement it with more of the same brand of containers. We like doing our food prep over the weekends and this style is perfect for our needs. They do keep our food fresher for a longer period of time due to the tight seal. Plus we like not having our food in plastic due to all the health concerns (especially when we warm up our food in the microwave). Hope this helps you.

Replaced my plastic Rubbermaid food storage containers with glass ones from different brands I found on Amazon. My husband found these frustrating as had to match the correct lids, lock all 4 tabs and often these tabs would fall off, exposing one to hot vapors during transport. Not an issue with the Glass Rubbermaid containers. Waited for a sale and acquire a new set. Except for the smaller storage containers, these all use the same sized lids- difference is in the visible height of each glass storage unit! These containers can easily stack in the fridge or freezer! I usually wash them by hand, but they have survived the dishwasher. Husband's happy! And the other glass storage containers, I refasten their tabs & gave them away!

We are working our way out of using plastic food containers as much as possible. After much research, we bought a set of these, and now we have two sets because they are just about ideal. The sizes are varied enough for 90% of the food we need to store in the fridge. The containers are stackable both with and without lids, and fit great on our fridge shelves. Somehow the glass is even more see-through than plastic containers, or maybe it's the size/shape of these, but I feel like it is easier to see and tell what is in these than any containers we've used before. The lids close easily and with no loud noise (which I've seen with other types of closures, especially the kind with four tabs, and wanted to avoid). The only downside we have found is that the lids seal VERY tightly and can be hard to open once sealed. But that is more than outweighed by how EVERYTHING else about these containers is so well-designed for how we actually use them. They have turned out to be better than expected! Highly recommend.

love this glass storage! These containers seal like a vault! No food odors escape into your fridge. I switched to all glass for food storage, no more plastic. The lids are plastic, though. That may be my only caveat. If you push down too hard to seal the lid, they can crack right in the center. But it seems all lids for all brands and styles can have some sort of crack issue, so it's a trade off. I love the glass, its durable, can be used in the microwave and washed in the dishwasher, no special care required. No issues with staining or odor retention. I've had garlic/italian foods stored as well as mexican foods and no staining nor odors. ZERO issues with leaks. love them. Best in class right now for glass food storage.

Great variety and I feel so much better using glass instead of plastic. I love the different sizes and have used most of them. The lids seal very tightly, so it can be a bit of a challenge to get them off. (It may get easier over time.) You do hear the very satisfying sound of the lid sealing though, so if I have pull harder that usual to remove lids, that's fine.

Love these - glass, the lid stays well and truly air/water tight and just feels generally excellent quality. The only thing I’d say is they are quite expensive.

We are pretty fussy and these containers are great quality. They seal well and yes the lids are a bit tight to start off with but hey better than leaking yeah. We bought a large kit with 2 large containers,medium, small and the smaller size that are good for nuts or say protein powder to take with you to work. I use the size pictured for 70gm of home made oat mix with yogurt & blueberries, works perfect. These containers wash up well and are very durable.

This is my 5th purchase of the Rubbermaid brilliance line. I now have gotten rid of all my old containers and have replaced them with a combination of plastic and glass Rubbermaid Brilliance ones including the ones I use for dry foods. I love how they are super clear (and don’t stain), do not leak, and very easy to stack. Having the lids work on both glass and plastic is so useful! The four containers here are good for leftovers as a single meal for lunch. Or I like to use them to store berries after I’ve washed them. I wish this set came with the even deeper rectangular containers. You can ONLY get if you buy the complete glass set which is not cheap and it doesn’t seem to be offered/sold separately. Still very happy with my purchases of the whole line. Almost anyone who has seen them ask about them.

Product was def well designed with user experience in mind. Easy to remove lid, great quality glass, versatile for microwave, oven cooking, and easy to clean. The rubber lining on lid can be removed for cleaning :) The company was also very efficient with shipment and constantly updated me on its status via WhatsApp as well.
