Review: Great monitors - Originally bought 2 of these and some 2 years later looking for a third monitor still couldn't find anything significantly better for the same price range so bought a third. If you're looking for a 1ms 1440p IPS panel you really can't go far wrong with it, only thing I'd recommend is set overdrive to speed as it's not set by default and is significantly better than the other options.

Colour reproduction was decent, if a bit oversaturated, out of the box. Contrast is pretty good and the consistency of the backlight is OK. It's basically as I'd expect for an IPS monitor. 144hz makes a big difference in the games that I can run at higher framerates and in general the smoothness in windows is also a big bonus. G-sync seems to work well with my 3070. The monitor was easy to attach to the stand and it offers the height and tilt adjustments you'd expect. Recommended if you're looking for a budget gaming monitor.

**Q: Gigabyte g27q 27 ips 2560x1440 flat screen. will a laptop with a gtx1660ti gpu run this monitor?**
A: So long as your card has a Display port connection out (Which I think it does) it can output a video signal to this display

If you're gaming or video editing, you might struggle to run some games at its full resolution depending on settings like FPS and other video settings. You can output standard 1080 or lower to the monitor so it will be fine.

**Q: Doss the screen come with a screen protector? like the foil cause it looks like it but i dont want to scratch it (g27q ips)**
A: I don’t think so. I did not check but the screen is quite clear and doesn’t look like there’s one.

A: freesync and G sync compatible

**Q: How long would this monitor last? My current one has lasted 3 years without issues, non-stop use. Wondering how this monitor does for that length of**
A: Really depends on how you treat it. I have had this for a year, using it about 12 hours a day with no issue. Old monitors I got from Dell lasted about 5 years. 

My suggestion, expect at least 2 years of work-life (warranted) as Amazon will replace it if breaks by that time, but be prepared to evaluate going forward. Most likely you should be fine for the next 3-5 years.

I spent a lot of time researching 27" 1440p monitors and decided this Gigabyte offered the best value. I'm happy with the decision. Colour reproduction was decent, if a bit oversaturated, out of the box. Contrast is pretty good and the consistency of the backlight is OK. It's basically as I'd expect for an IPS monitor. 144hz makes a big difference in the games that I can run at higher framerates and in general the smoothness in windows is also a big bonus. G-sync seems to work well with my 3070. The monitor was easy to attach to the stand and it offers the height and tilt adjustments you'd expect. Recommended if you're looking for a budget gaming monitor.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A league of its own

In terms of what you get for your money compared to other products with the same spec, this is fantastic. I’m not a huge gamer but this is primarily what I got it for and it does not disappoint. The colour and sharpness of the image is fantastic. I honestly wasn’t expecting much of a change between HD and QHD but this really delivered. And as a bonus, despite telling me it would be in stock on the 15th, I received it after just a few days. So I’m actually writing my review before I was expecting it to be delivered. The one very minor criticism I have is that the power button is on the back. This wouldn’t be a problem but the power button is also the control panel button for the monitor (it’s like a mini joystick) so it’s slightly awkward to adjust the monitor settings. Oh and the speakers aren’t great. But considering they’re in built and were a complete bonus, I really don’t care. It’s a brilliant monitor and I couldn’t be more pleased with it.
