Review: What I needed - Got this to put over a hard (mock wood) floor to use with my new office chair which is quite heavy. Ideally would have liked 90 x 120cm but this was the nearest size so not complaining. I have used this kind of thing before but it was over a carpet so the protector had stipples which gripped the carpet (part of it went under a desk which also to keep it from moving) whereas this doesn't have anything to 'grip' the floor. As a result it does tend to move a bit but I can live with that by just moving it back into position every so often. The important thing is that it protects the floor which for me is the main thing. I'd also add that after unrolling it on receipt I then left it for 2-3 days (held down at the four corners and in the middle with some magazines and books) which did the trick and kept it flat so you need to bear this in mind before using it. Recommended

**Q: Do you put the smooth side on the floor or the textured pls**
A: I am not sure myself.  I had the same problem, I tried both ways and eventually decided to leave the smoth side to the floor and the textured side upward.  This seemed to suit my laminated hard flooring better and provided some anti-slip for my office chair wheels.  In the end I would think it would depend on your flooring and personal choice.

**Q: Can you use with underfloor heating?**
A: It can be heated, but the temperature should not exceed 40 degrees Celsius

**Q: Does this stop your chair from sliding all over the place uncontrollably?**
A: Yes, it does. The issues I face are that the chair goes off the mat (so buy the bigger size) and the mat itself keeps moving so I have to straighten it a few times a day.

**Q: Does it get yellow/unclear after being used for a while, long term use?**
A: I’ve had mine for 6 months and it hasn’t discoloured.
