Perfect and works just as it says, easy to use

Game changer I was so used to struggling trying to figure out how to use a ruler under the toilet to measure wood like floor panels and took me cutting several pieces and try and error to get one panel to fit. Now I can finish the floor much faster and not waist to much materials. Would definitely buy others if available in longer or shorter sizes. In fact I would buy them all. I'm always doing floors remodel and DIY projects. Plus I love that it stays in place with a metal lever on the side so you don't loose your place when you lift it off the floor. Plus it has an allen wrench key to loosen or tighten to your needs. That's an awesome feature which I didn't expect to find. Nice job manufacturer that is the best.

There are no instruction but there are pics on the box in addition to you should be able to figure out what 2 screws do. That said I only did a small, uncomplicated test and it worked perfectly to transfer a cut. The fit was spot on and I’m excited to use this with more things. Anyone confused, you loosen the screws as needed for the amount of resistance you need to measure. Once you have measured, pull the lock switch out on the other side to lock the marking. You then trace that onto what you’re cutting. It’s very simple. There is also the example in the product photos here. I can’t stress how simple it is. Simply disengage the lock and butt all the pins against the edge of the gauge to set it to zero.

Perfect! This was very useful making tricky angled cuts. Easy to use and locks in place.

Easy to use design. Works well for getting custom shapes when installing flooring and trim. Decent quality and value for the money. Manageable weight and thickness of construction. Depth of plastic "fingers" is adequate.

My husband loves this tool. It works great for him.

We used this to help up wall paper around our mantel. While it helped a ton, we did with the orange lines were longer so we could reach farther. Overall, wallpapering would have been a lot harder without this tool so if you’re wallpapering, definitely consider.
